I have been wondering lately what is the circulation and sales of disney comics magazines in Europe, especially weekly and biweekly like : Anders And & Co., Aku Ankka , Le Journal de Mickey , Μίκυ Μάους (Greece), Donald Duck (the Netherlands) , Micky Maus (German) , Donald Duck & Co (Norway) , Kalle Anka & C:o. and Topolino. If anyone were interested in Poland , the only such magazine whose circulation and sale is known is the "Donald Kaczor" (currently monthly magazine but in the future . In 2018 year average sale of ,,Kaczor Donald" was 16 481 and average circulation was 39 181 . Current monthly data can be found on this page: www.teleskop.org.pl/zkdp/index.jsp?p=publicDataNoReg and and summary statements on this page : www.zkdp.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=8&Itemid=4&lang=pl
PS. I would be grateful for both the numbers and the websites where such data can be found.
There's one member on the German forum who keeps posting the numbers for some things. I'll have to dig out the numbers but you can search for yourself by entering the word "Quartalsauflagen" and search on site:comicforum.de - should give you the relevant threads.
They've all lost a huge part of their readership in the last decades, I am sure due to competition from videogames and the internet, as well as the Japs' comicbooks (manga). And of course, rising prices due to declining readership - which creates a vicious cycle.
