In this instance, "imperialist propaganda" means something along the lines of "reinforcing the dominant white capitalist ideology". Which, if all you're going by is the Chilean translations of old Western Pub. stories, is at least a little understandable. Western was a little more Vic Lockman than Carl Barks on most days, after all.

Barks: "We'll teach 'em square dancing!"
D&M: "We will teach them to stand to attention before their superiors!"
I think that some of these wonky translations are a driving factor in this book's sometimes wonky attitude. Given that this book was written by two young guys in the early 1970s, in a socialist country, trying to be "provocative", it's little wonder that they went after Disney -- an international media empire ("imperial") spreading midcentury American values ("propaganda") to the rest of the world.
