Only two this month.

OCT161650 (W) Aaron Sparrow (A/CA) James Silvani The Terror that Flaps in the Night is back in the eighth installment of the all-new ongoing comic series! Gosalyn's tuba practice is driving Drake Mallard mad, but he's about to meet a louder menace in Frequencia, the SETI scientist turned sinister sonic-saboteur. This cacophony of chaos may be the end for St. Canard's security-and for Darkwing Duck's sanity! The comeback of the century continues! In Shops: Dec 28, 2016 SRP: $3.99
Frozen #6
OCT161652 (W) Georgia Ball (A/CA) Benedetta Barone Brand new adventures await Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, Sven, and the rest of your favorite characters from Disney Frozen! Return to the magical kingdom of Arendelle again and again in the sixth installment of the all-new, original comic series from Joe Books. In Shops: Dec 28, 2016 SRP: $3.99
I've noticed all Joe Books titles increased the price with $1 in the September and October catalogs. $1 doesn’t sound much but $2.99 to $3.99 is 33% more expensive.
I wonder if this means we get more pages too, or have to pay more for the same amount of comics. Joe Books likes to use a lot of pages for ads at the end, so we don’t get a whole lot of comic pages in the first place.
The first Darkwing Duck trade paperback, collecting the first four Joe Books issues are also being published in December Previews code OCT161651
And there's a Frozen Winter Wonderland Comics Collection. I'm not sure what stories this book will have, but it might collect the first Frozen issues in addition to the comic adaptation of the movie or some of the short stories we saw in the Frozen Fun Book last year. Previews code OCT161653

Okay. That Frozen book is weird because they already solicited a Frozen trade last month that's supposed to have issues 1-4 of that monthly series. Is this Winter Wonderland Collection the same thing or something else?
And they should give the Darkwing book a proper title rather than just calling it Comics Collection. That sounds too generic. What's wrong with "Darkwing Duck: Orange Is the New Purple"?

In my opinion: it's a good series, but you might not understand the comic. I mean, you could UNDERSTAND it alright, thanks to the Darkwing Duck Wikia for instance, but you wouldn't enjoy it as much.
I've never seen any DW cartoon. Can I understand this comic? Is it a good series?
You will likely want to get yourself familiar with the tv series before reading the comic if only because you'll have a better appreciation for it that way. This is nothing like your usual Mickey or Donald Disney comics. Thankfully, you can get the dvd releases for pretty cheap on Amazon so it won't be too hard to get into. It's also recommended that you pick up the Definitively Dangerous Edition omnibus release of the Boom series before reading the new one as it's a direct followup to that.
If you choose to start reading the new series without knowing anything about the tv series or the Boom comic, well... there's going to be a lot of characters and you won't know who any of them are in addition to some references that you wouldn't get.
Is it a good series? Definitely.

...though the new comics *are* helping the newbies by presenting those pages from DW's files on the various villains!
Still, I agree it would help to watch some of the TV series first. I'd watch the "vol.1" DVD collection which has the pilot: that tells the story of how Gosalyn came into Darkwing's life. You definitely don't have to watch the whole series to get the comics. I myself have only watched about half of the series, and I'm enjoying the comics very much.
