I'm looking forward to the following english issues of the PKNA-Series. The format is bigger than in germany, and the paper has a better quality. I'm also pleased that you guys are going to get Doublejoke on English. He's in my opinion a very cool character, because he is not that harmless than Peg-Leg Pete (in Italian stories, he's very harmless, almost friendly), but very dangeorous (and crazy too). Casty and Massimo De Vita are also very talented and gorgeous storytellers.
Pete isn't harmless in Casty's stories, he's a real villain. Tito Faraci on the other hand is a little obsessed with the idea of a "friendship" between Mickey and Pete.

I linked a story by Faraci, so I meant him. I really never read a story with Pete by Casty, could you recommend one to me?
Well. Typically in a Casty story the fact that the villain is Pete is revealed towards the middle of the story, in the tradition of Scarpa and Gottfredson. So it is a bit of a spoiler to recommend one or more of them.
I put the two most important ones here below under spoiler alert. So you can decide if you want to click and have a look at them or not!
I am no fan of Casty, especially as regards his long adventures. But this two are surely some of his best efforts, I appreciate them. Even because Casty always sets beautiful ending fistfights between Mickey and Pete, like only Gottfredson and the young Scarpa could do!
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about those two! I own them both and you're right, pete's very bad in those two stories. I think you can Split stories with Pete in three different zones. 1.) The Bad Pete. The bad Pete is really bad as in stories by Casty, Gottfredson and Scarpa. 2.) The local thief and criminal. Modern Italian authors are using him often, just as Alessandro Sisti. He's just robbing several things and at the end of the story he's in jale. Boeing. 3.) Faraci-style or the friendship. This Style is often used by Tito Faraci, we talked about it.
