I have gathered, with a single picture of Scrooge, all the colour schemes for his jacket that I know of. This thread is to discuss them and for everyone to give their favourite and least favourite colour schemes. If I missed one, do tell me.
1 — The Italian color scheme:
2 — The DuckTales colour scheme.
3 — Alternate Blue Colour Scheme:
4 — "Reverse DuckTales"
5 — Blue Coat
6 — Brown Coat (occasional vintage Western colours)
7 — Dark Red (Egmont Colour Scheme)
8 — Entirely Red Coat (modern French colour scheme)
9 — Green Collar and Cuffs, Red Coat (Germanic Colour Scheme (?))
10 — Modern American Colours (based on Don Rosa's advice)
11 — Pink Collar and Cuffs, Red Coat (Spanish Colour Scheme?)

The number 9 (Red and Green) is Dutch, not German.
I am not sure that there is really a difference between the number 7 (Egmont's Dark Red) and the number 8 (Modern French Red). It is just that French magazines Le Journal de Mickey, and more recently Picsou Magazine, publish a lot of stuff coming from Egmont. More traditionally the French one is probably the number 10 (Modern American Colours). In any case, number 7 and 8 should have a blue walking stick (which I know that is weird, ask the Danish people why...).

Okay for the stick, I didn't really pay attention to that; at any rate, there is definitely a difference between 7 and 8. Both could be found in French Disney comics at some point, and two different shades were very clearly used. And yes, modern French publications have (sadly) adopted the #10 color scheme (Modern American Colours), but that's very recent.

Ah ok so that's recent the red&grey color. In the end France is the place where you can see almost all the color versions appear. Which is kind of pleasant.
Uh? No idea what's going on with that. I'll see what I can do. It's too bad you have to link the images from outside hosting sites, rather than being able to just post them here.
My fave is the classic American colour scheme - when there wasn't one! Scrooge usually wore purple or green. Red in some of his earliest solo adventures. Blue in "Land Beneath the Ground!". Even black in his early "villain" days.
