These days I am uploading to YouTube whatever important piece of Disney history I seem to have, and isn't archived. So far, I have uploaded two videos.
1) The vinyl record from "Mickey Mouse in Color" [Another Rainbow - 1988]
Another Rainbow Publishing, in 1988, published the "Mickey Mouse in Color" book, which contained Mickey Mouse stories and material, from Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks.
There are 3 editions of the book:
1) A trade edition
2) A Deluxe Limited Regular Edition of 3000 - signed by both Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks.
3) A Deluxe Limited Gold Plate Edition of 100 - signed by both Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks
The record used on this video, is from the Deluxe Limited Regular Edition. Both sides of the record contain the same audio track, it wouldn't be different if I played the other side.
The quotation contained there, is part of a much larger interview, lasting 15 pages, all of which are included in the book.
The stories mentioned by Floyd Gottfredson are:
Island in the sky
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=YM+032
Blaggard Castle
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=YM+015
Mickey Mouse outwits the Phantom Blot
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=YM+039
The stories mentioned by Carl Barks are:
Island in the sky
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=W+US+++29-01
Lost in the Andes
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=W+OS++223-02
In old California
coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=W+OS++328-02
2) Carl Barks Barkster Figurine [Diamond Comics Distributor VHS ~1994]
Figurine designed by Carl Barks, and sculpted by Randy Bowen circa 1994. More info about it, you can see on the video. The VCR used for recording was a Philips VR 550, and the audio was cleared by audacity. Only 100 figurines were ever produced, so only 100 tapes were available too. I was lucky enough to have a friend who bought one figurine on 2009, and double lucky that he trusted me with this rare tape. It was really difficult to find a PAL VCR with NTSC playback. With some VCRs I didn't get picture, I had slow audio or black & white picture, but in the end, I managed to rip it just right.
3) Carl Barks - The Duck Maestro [Good Fellows Ky - 1994]

I have also found Randy Bowen on statueforum.com, stating that he hasn't gotten an accounting of sales from Barkster figurine, even though he has requested it many times
3) Carl Barks - The Duck Maestro [Good Fellows Ky - 1994]
The VHS was released on 1994 on Finland, from the comic book shop "Good Fellows Ky". There was a 90 minute version, limited to 150 copies, and a regular 60 minute version, both with Finnish subs. The 90 minute version, was also released on US without the Finnish subs. Someone happened to rip this to DVD, and on 2005, I bought that DVD from a Greek fleamarket website and the rest is history. I have complete timestamps on the description.
