I was a bit surprised by that Snow White book; I had no idea it was going to be published until I saw it in this post! But now I see that Fantagraphics already have a page on their own website about it.
The book has a July Previews code, but it’s not listed together with the rest of the Fantagraphics comics in the July catalog listing, so it must have been added later or something like that.
All Snow White stories drawn by Scarpa won’t fit in the book, but with 160 pages it will probably have something I haven’t read – so the book is now pre-ordered
The best news is simply that Fantagraphics is interested in publishing Disney comics apart from the Gottfredson, Barks and Rosa collections! I hope we’ll see more in the future as hinted about in another thread here.
So I'm seeing that three issues of The Story of the Movie in Comics have been listed on inducks. (Tangled, Snow White and Lion King) I guess this means they actually got released?

I've seen the first 3 issues of The Story of the Movie in Comics in person, so I can confirm that they finally got released! Also, the 3rd issue (Cars 3) of At the Movies is on sale, but I haven't seen the 2nd one (Lilo & Stitch) yet... So far, both published issues in the At the Movies series are also published as a Movie Graphic Novel. Still not easy to keep track of all the movie adaptations from Joe Books.
I've read a number of the old comics adaptations of Disney movies, and... eh. Some of them are pretty good for what they are, long as you accept that they're not going to be as good as the movies, while others are just awful.
The Disney Princess comics are actually pretty fun. Just cute and silly depictions of the day-to-day lives of the various Princesses, as well as their comedy-relief sidekicks. Not all the strips are funny, and some are a bit cringey, but there's a lot of charm here.
By the way, anyone know why there are only six dwarfs on the Return of Snow White book? Did Dopey oversleep or something?
