About the live commercials, it's weird how this keeps happening in Disney comics: it's also in "Lentils of Babylons", as Geox has pointed out. Perhaps live commercials is the norm in this world, for some odd reason.
Live commercials are also a convenient excuse to bring conflict in the story.
Of course, back in the 1950s and 1960s, a lot of TV was still being live, even if it was a fiction show. There was that infamous Thomas the Tank Engine show in 1953 that was live: a train derailed, and right on camera, a human hand came in to put it back up!!
Lentils of Babylons was made in 1960, so I guess it still makes sense here.
The Brazilian story I am talking about was originally made in 1980; I am guessing the authors were of an older generation, still viewing TV like this.
In Toy Story 2, the commercials done by villain Al McWhiggin are also done live, which is very clear in the end. The movie came out in 1999. This is kinda forced... but even as a kid back then, I shrugged it off as a necessary trope for children's fiction.

as a kid I always somehow connected the live commercials with Scrooge's cheapness, somehow. I think the premise still works in the modern day, but it'd have to be integrated into a talk show of some sort.

I'm going to say that the last "funny" moment that you posted made me almost laugh but it didn't made me laugh because of the live action commercial part. I don't think the live action commercial parts really works in Disney comics maybe except in a Brer Rabbit comic because of Song of the South being a live action movie with three animated BR scenes that are based on some original folktales. If a Brer Rabbit comic like that was made now, I don't think they will put Uncle Remus in it but they will put Johnny and Ginny instead or maybe they will put different humans instead of the ones from SotS. I think it's okay to put those commercials in a TV Series but not sure about comics. I have watched Thomas the Tank Engine when I was a kid and I have watched a lot of episodes. I don't think the series was that infamous. The TV Series wasn't made in 50s but in 80s. The other Thomas the Tank Engine "TV Series" from 1953 that are you talking about was originally planned to be made but it was cancelled and it was never finished. We don't know if it was really a TV Series or a movie. It was actually based on the books from 40s where the series was called "The Railway Series". Maybe have you heard of those books before?
What do you mean, you didn't laugh because of the "live action commercial part"? I didn't say anything about "live action", I said that Donald and Fethry were doing a TV commercial "live", as in, the cameras were filming them and the video was transmitted immediately to people's TVs while they were shooting.

I meant that the last image that you posted wasn't funny compared to the previous images of the same story but was really that live action scene as part of the story itself? Was that scene in the original brazilian version too or it was only added to the french version? Maybe the french translators decided to change some things that were not in the original brazilian script or something? If that was also in the brazilian version then I wonder why they decided to make the commercials in live action instead of drawing the commercial scenes in cartoon? It's okay to draw humans in realistic style but not sure about putting some random live action photograph as part of a Disney comic.I think you should post another funny moment in another story that you have read that is considered as more funnier than the last one that you posted. Well, it seems that you have no problem in translating dialogues from your language to english but why you can't translate dialogues from other languages that are not in french? I meant languages like spanish, italian, portuguese, german, danish, dutch, norwegian, swedish etc. Can you understand any of those languages or you can only understand english and french?
I put the last live-action image as a JOKE. It wasn't a photo in the story!
It is an image from the Village People's music video of their song Macho Man. Do you know this song?
I decided to put it because Donald was doing a commercial for a brand of barbell called "Macho". I think this song is funny, and it shows men doing muscle exercise. Because it's called "Macho Man", I thought many people would recognize it and understand the reference.
It was just a joke from my part!
And to answer your other question, I am French and I can speak both French and English. That's why I could translate it.
I am also learning Italian, and I can understand it moderately.

Hmm... OK! . So that last image was a joke and I knew it before you confirmed it to me. I don't like those kind of jokes and that why I didn't laugh at the last image. I haven't heard of this song before and that why I was not familiar with it. The story itself is fine but it's only the Macho Man image that pissed me off! . I already know that you're a french and there no need to say that again. It's great to hear that you can understand some of the italian words but tell me some of the italian words that you can understand.

Ah? You didn't know that song? The Village People were very famous, and although their songs "YMCA" and "In The Navy" are their most popular songs, the song "Macho Man" was quite popular too, especially after being used in 1990s movies like The Nutty Professor (1996) and In & Out (1997).
But I guess I am older than a lot of you, so I have a different culture...
Oh, there are many Italian words I can understand now, from reading Disney comics in Italian... Like... "Purtroppo": unfortunately "Zitto!": Shut up! "Strega": Witch "Scemo": Idiot "Topo": Mouse "Anatra": Duck (except the Italians use the word "Papero" to talk about the Disney ducks, even though it means a baby goose) "Cane": Dog "Togliati di mezzo!": Get out of here! "Come puoi dire una cosa simile?": How can you say such a thing?

OK, but when you said " I am older than a lot of you, so I have a different culture", did you mean that you know a lot of different cultures that are "less-known" to other fans who are not familiar with those cultures or you meant that you're one of the oldest members here, huh? I don't think it's right to say that because each countries have a different culture and not the same and not all people are familiar with the same things. As for the "anatra" and "papero" thing, I think the Disney ducks were referred as "papero" by italian translators because they thought that the characters were geese because they were colored white but of course there are different geese who have different colors like this one goose known as western canadian goose:
Of course a lot of fans knows that they are pekin ducks not geese and pekin ducks are white colored ducks .
Nectaria, careful with your tendency to ramble. You easily get sidetracked into off-topic.
OK, sorry for getting off-topic again. I will stop talking about something that is not related to this thread and I will only talk about the funniest moments of Disney comics. Please forgive me! . Well, I'm still wondering if it's fine to post any funny moments that are from other Disney universes or this thread is only about the funny moments of Mice and Ducks stories? If any other Disney stories are allowed to this thread, then I will post my funniest moments of Forest stories later.

This "different culture" business: what orora meant is that he's familiar with the pop-culture of his youth, which not many of us remember, being younger than him. Also, go ahead, nectaria, for the Forest funny moments!
A spaceship brings to Earth a strange metallic brick that collided with a satellite.
The object seems to have been designed to be as "useless" as possible. It even has a complex mechanism inside that serves no purpose whatsoever!! An X-ray analysis shows:
Scientist: "You can see colored balls going down a spiral circuit, fueled by a mechanic system! And it starts again from the top!"
People are fascinated by how "useless" an object can be, and strangely, everyone in Duckburg starts feeling cynical, bored, finding everything "useless" and losing interest in anything.
A news reporter talks to a duck guy who likes to own "useless" things (while a pig tries to get attention).
News reporter:"What?" Tin hat guy:"Don't mind him! I am a champion at useless things!"
Tin hat guy: "Did you see that? Ever since yesterday morning, I am tapping my shoe on the same spot of the sidewalk! Can you do better?"
