hi,
first of all, hello, im new here, i joined DCML and DCF for some time before and was pleasantly surprised that some Disney Comics creators were in there and active.
Growing up from Disney comics and Euro comics, I am now trying to get contact information of my favorite artists, i know this is near 0.00000001% chance to get information but I just got to try.
Don Rosa is the only comic creator that I know who made himself publicly available to the fans and embraced interacting with the fans.
Rob Klein, who wrote some stories but didnt draw any was also very welcoming when I first hit DCML, hi Rob. Sadly, I couldnt identify his stories since he didnt draw but he was very helpful and his disney comics knowledge is enormous.
Carl Barks, i didnt get to interact with him, but his personal doctor, GW Tank was in DCML and I was able to wish Barks well in his final years through the help of GW Tank.
I tried googling some other comic artists but I met a dead end.
I read that some Euro-based artists still go to convention, is there anyone who can help a fellow fan in obtaining a simple sketch or a commission from:
Ben Verhagen,
why this guy is not high on the disney comic fandom, i do not know, but Verhagen's art and stories really carried Barks' spirit.
when I was a kid, I mistook a story of his once as Barks'. He is THAT good.
Mau Heymans,
he has one of the wackiest and silliest duck drawing which is very nice to look at and very funny. I love his style and all of his stories are generally uplifting and have a cheerful appeal to it.
Daniel Kox, not disney, but euro comic agent 212. Euro comics were once a part of my country's comic culture but recently the comic culture is about manga. I'm from Indonesia.
Max Dereta, also not disney, but an euro comic, this guy is a real obscurity, cant find anything about him but his comics were a part of my childhood.
Most other comic artists whose artworks i love has sadly passed away, like Al Taliaferrro, Don Lawrence, Jan Steeman (passed away last year), Uderzo. Getting signed prints of theirs nowadays is still doable but lack the 'personal touch'. So I am trying to find out any way I can.

cheers,
