Skottie Young posted his variant on instagram, but I still haven't seen the Frank Miller variant anywhere. A bit strange as the deadline for comic shops to order these comics is in two days..
All cover variants as listed in the Previews catalog:

The one I want the most is the Walt Simonson one. But it seems that one is going to be a 1:25 variant, and I doubt I can convince my local comic shop to order more than 25 copies of this comic...
Question: Have the Donald and Fethry stories by Hubbard and Kinney been all collected in the 2 DM volumes? Will there be a third one?
Here is a list of all stories by Hubbard and Kinney not published in any Disney Masters book. And these are the ones missing featuring Fethry. You can find this using the Advanced search on inducks.
Now that the "Disney Afternoon Adventures" series is ending
Do you have a source for this claim?
It would be strange not having a DuckTales book in the series. And I haven't seen the contents of the delayed Gummi Bears book yet, but it would be a crime to end this series without reprinting the only known Quack Pack story
I've been waiting for someone to publish the two DuckTales stories that IDW skipped, and it looks like this book has one of them. Too bad I have to travel to the other side of the planet to be able to pick it up.
Does anyone know why the Disney Masters release schedule has slowed down over the years?
I'm guessing it is because we got books like "Bear Mountain Tales", "World of the Dragonlords" and "For Whom the Doorbell Tolls" that maybe share the release schedule with Disney Masters, but is better marketed as stand-alone books.
With two volumes out or announced it’d be nice to just get the whole series now in this new format and I’ll sell off my old set. Have they announced if they’re reprinting all four volumes?
Haven't seen any info about more volumes after the two announced. But IDW's volume 3 had a lot of Hiawatha strips, and it judging from recent European reprint collections all Hiawatha stories seems to be on the no-no list. I'd be surprised if they are going to be included in any Fantagraphics books.
Anybody know what "Fantastic Futures: Classic Tales with a 22nd Century Twist" will contain?
This is a fun one with, I think, yet-to-be-published anywhere stories, all written by Francesco Artibani and drawn by various artists. They all use various classic Disney cartoons (Lonesome Ghosts, Boat Builders, Thru the Mirror to name a few) as springboards for futuristic fantasies. If you liked the other potpourri books Fanta has done of this nature, you'll like this.
I think the first story (Lonesome Ghosts) already got published in Topolino #3502
- and a couple of box sets of previously published books
I found the following ones listed:
September 26, 2023 - Disney Masters Collector's Box Set #9: Vols. 17 & 18 September 26, 2023 - Disney Masters Collector's Box Set #10: Vols. 19 & 20 October 10, 2023 - Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge Gift Box Set "The Twenty-four Carat Moon" & "Island in the Sky": Vols 22 and 24
But no box set for the first two volumes "Disney Afternoon Adventures" are announced yet. I've been holding of buying those books as I prefer getting the box sets. But it would be nice to know if they are going to do boxes for this series or not.
Looks like we'll get a new 2023 edition of the Mickey book soon.
It is listed with the same page count as the original book, the description say "This edition is derived from the XXL book", but the weight is only half of the original. I'm guessing this will be a reprint with the same content/edit as the original book, just in a smaller size. The 40th edition from 2020 had a couple of chapters removed.
I have the full run of the Carl Barks library in color but wanted to know if there are stories missing it thay are in the AR collections or the fanatagraphics collections? if yes which volumes would I need to pick up to complete my Barks stories?
I don't have a list, and I guess people have different definitions on what to include in a complete Carl Barks collection.
But there are several Daisy Duck's Diary stories not printed in the CBLIC series. Ex.:
Not all are printed by Fantagraphics yet, but they are collected in one of the AR books in the Donald Duck Family box.
If you want to include stories written by Carl Barks, but not drawn there are a lot missing. Some are partly shown in the AR collection, like Donald Duck - Officer For A Day, and we have newish Egmont produced stores based on ideas by Barks like Donald Duck - Trouble with Double , and a tennis match gag not credited to Barks until some years ago but now included in the Fantagraphics collection. Just to name a few.
And there are Brazilian and Japanese remake stories (written by Barks) that are not printed in English at all.
Also the last years artwork cut from stories drawn by Carl Barks has been found, that are missing in old collections. One was included in the Fantagraphics collection, another discovered a bit too late to be included, but I think it is in the new Diamond Jubilee Collection from Fantagraphics.
My advice for finding stories you are missing is to add your collection in the inducks database and then do a search for stories by Barks not in your collection. Then it's up to you to decide if they are something you want or not
The new "Anders And & Co. - 60 år med danske serieskabere" aslo has articles with information about Egmont production, but I haven't had the time to read it yet and can't give any opinions on it.
Two books that I have on my want/to get list:
"La Grande Histoire du Journal de Mickey", that I think has a lot of interesting information about French comics. And "I Disney Italiani", with a history of Italian comics. But I haven't read any of the two (if anyone has, please say a few words about them!)
Another recommendation is "Disney-sarjakuvien historia 1930-2020", but that book is not just about European comics. I have partly read it, but it's a pain as I don't understand much Finnish and need to use translator apps/programs.
