Thanks for Reginella. Yes, indeed, it's mostly about Donald, too bad. There *are* things that could be said about her character, from the whole run of stories.
I appreciate that the Goofy piece recognizes that he is not stupid or simply foolish, but "differently intelligent." That's how I like to see him portrayed.
About the "bis-bis a palate" on Goofy's profile, I can answer that, if you want. See, in the Italian version of the Disney universe, one particular aspect of the character, an aspect from which MANY stories were written, is that Goofy has a very large family, and the Goofy family existed since the dawn of time. Every era has its Goofy, more precisely ancestors of the modern Goofy. There was a Goofy in Ancient Rome, one in China, another in South America, Africa, Australia...you name it, a Goofy is or was there. They basically shaped history, in their own silly way. Best of all, Goofy's attic is a goldmine of souvenirs and...well, for lack of a better term, STUFF from all over the world, each thing owned in the past by one of Goofy's ancestors/uncles/cousins.
Goofy's family is so large and silly and weird, that his own twin brother Pappo (Get it? Because Goofy's Italian name is Pippo) currently lives in the darkest part of Africa, since he got bored of American bananas and wanted to eat the real thing. And that's without talking about his adventurous and brave cousin, Arizona Goof.
Well yeah, I know all the parts about the attic, and the family, I just literally don't understand what "bis-bis a palate" means Welcome to the forums, by the way!

Oh, right. Silly me. "Bis" in this case is an abbreviation of "Bisnonno", "Great-Grandfather". "Bis-bis a palate" is basically a very quirky way to say "Lots of ancestors".
