As a Gosalyn fan, I particularly enjoyed this week's #3 in Joe Books' Darkwing Duck series. There's a nice text page on Gosalyn, and she has a couple of great moments in the story. I am glad, though, that I didn't look at the back cover until after I'd finished reading the comic. The back cover quotes my favorite panel from the story, and the panel wouldn't have worked as well for me in the course of the story if I had read the text from it ahead of time. So, if you haven't read this one yet--when you do, don't look at the back cover before you read the story!
Squeakyboots--the text page expands on the point you made here, that the idea that launched the Darkwing Duck series--and gave it heart--is "What if Batman had a daughter who wouldn't stay home?" Plus, you got your wish! More profile pages introducing the villains!
