Hi. After reading Young Donald Duck, I became curious about other portrayals of Donald's youth. The intended purpose of this thread is to catalog every story which tells us something from Donald's past, before whenever "now" is in Duckburg. Before the status quo. I'm looking for stories, but also flashbacks and references to... anything. Well, maybe not if a story says that Donald bought milk last Thursday, but you know... Events from his past, basically! Early Taliaferro- and Gottfredson strips don't count, since the status quo hadn't quite been established yet at that point, so they fall into this category automatically. The same goes for that story book, The Adventures of Mickey Mouse.
Anyways, here's the ones I know of already:
There's also a few cartoons which take place during this time period:

Anyways, here's the ones I know of already:
- Young Donald Duck, the 8 part mini-series.
- Donald Duckling, which is more of a category than an ongoing series.
- Marco Rota's From Egg to Duck.
- This is Your Life, Donald Duck, by Lockman and Strobl from Four Color Comics.
- The last scene of Rosa's Lo$ Chapter 11 has a scene with a kid-aged Donald, which is also seen in a flashback in A Letter From Home.
- While not a comic, the bulk of the story book The Life of Donald Duck takes place before "the present".
- And finally... the Disney Babies series.
There's also a few cartoons which take place during this time period:
- Donald's Better Self shows a younger Donald going to school.
- Don Donald shows Donald romantically involved with another woman before meeting Daisy.
- Donald's adventures with Panchito and José would probably go here as well, so Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros.
- And also a handful of shorts with Donald in WWII, which I'd also include here.
