It just feels off to me to force Quack Pack and Rosa's stories into the same universe.
I think I've seen more people not liking the idea of these two co-existing in the same universe. What is it with Rosa's works and Quack Pack that is so incompatible? I honestly haven't watched too much Quack Pack in my day.

I think the setting and timeline is a big factor. As probably everyone knows by now, Rosa sets his stories roughly in the 1950's. He's included dates on newspapers and ledgers in his stories to clearly point to this. Quack Pack is very strongly implied to take place in the 1990's. I can't remember for sure, but I do believe explicit references were made in the show to it being the '90's. Rosa includes no humans in his work, even turning historical figures such as Francis Drake and Theodore Roosevelt into anthropomorphic animals. Quack Pack is littered with humans, with human characters like Kent Powers and Gwumpki appearing frequently. Huey, Dewey, and Louie also differ greatly across the two sets of works. Those may be some of the major reasons why. The timeline is the greatest factor for me, personally.

Okay, fair enough. As stated before, I'd have to watch Quack Pack through a "1950s filter" in order to accept it.The humans aren't too big a problem for me. Barks and Taliaferro used humans too at one point or another. Similarly to the timeline-filter, I view this issue through a dogface-filter.
HDL's personalities are the only remaining problem. I mean, they are more or less the show's core, so it's a big one for me. That being said, Quack Pack is during puberty for them, during which a lot of change in personality tends to happen. They are more or less new characters at this point. So I guess you could hand wave it that way. I guess I would have to watch more of the show before I could conclude if it's actually compatible with my own head-canon or not; if it's a development in their personalities that seems probable.
