This page about the Clan McDuck i found on the internet

While searching about the Clan McDuck (trying to find not well-known members), i found this curious page, that tries to make a genealogy of the clan, using material from Barks, Rosa, "Historia e Gloria della Dinastia dei Paperi" and other sources. Interesting enough, it considers our regular Scrooge and "Dinastia dei Paperi" Scrooge as different characters, more precisely, here they are considered second cousins.

I don't know if this works with any other internet browsers, but with Google Chrome you can translate the whole page into whatever language you like. It's a fantastic age we live in.
Also, this page is an interesting find!

The translation is not very accurate though. And i agree with you about this page. It also has pages for the Duck family, Gearloose family and Mouse family, if i remember

Interesting discovery indeed. Making the Scrooge who is born in "Zio Paperone e l'Oro del Klondike" a separate McDuck from present-day Scrooge is nothing new — I recall one theory which thought to identify that story's Paperon-Papa as Klondike-era Don Rosa Scrooge, with the younger Scrooge thus being his child with Goldie.

But this makes more sense. It is impossible for Scrooge to be Paperon-Papà, and Fergus to be Paperhone

You mean cousin?

In Dutch "neef" is male cousin AND also means nephew.  Sorry, I forgot to read Rumpus' lineage, carefully.  He is supposed to be the SON of Scrooge's MOTHER'S sister.  So, yes, Rumpus would then be Scrooge's first cousin.

And sorry for going a little off-topic, but, you mentioned that your family was originally from The Netherlands.  Do you know from which part?  It must have been a long time ago for you to not know any Dutch language.  My family is from Den Haag.

Sorry, but no. My family's origins are probably forever lost. All i know is that my ancestor, a man whose last name was Florents (or something like that, i don't remember), came to the Americas in the 16th century. According to my researches, this man was related to a pope

There were no Dutch colonies in The New World before 1600.  So, I assume that you must have meant "came to The Americas in the 17th Century".  That is, unless he was a Nederlander who traveled on a Spanish ship to a Spanish colony, because, all of The Netherlands, including Belgium, was owned at that time (before 1581), by The King of Spain.  Between 1581 and 1600, The Dutch were fighting Spain for their independence, but had no colonies in The Western Hemisphere.  Dutch pirates took a town in South America in the year 1600, but relinquished it soon after.  I doubt that your relative sailed to The New World on a warship, and then stayed there for the rest of his life.  So, I assume you live in a Spanish-speaking, Latin-American country, or a former Dutch colony in The Carribean, or Surinaam.  Or, you live in USA, but meant to write "17th Century".

Actually, i am from Brazil. And no, i didn't meant "17th century". The records say he came to the New World in 1535, during the beggining of brazilian colonization. Years later, he married. He was born in 1515 and died in 1614. His wife was born in 1525 and died in 1620. Together, they had around 7 children
