There have been quite a few stories focused on Donald, Fethry and Gladstone being dragged in adventures together, such as Three Ducks and a Babyor Donald and the Space Vacation. I like how they work together. Of course, the plots tend to tone down Gladstone's luck to keep a level of challenge to the trio's adventures.

How about a story where Minnie and Daisy both believe that the other's boyfriend is better? (Minnie is tired of Mickey's overprotectiveness and Daisy of Donald's immaturity.) Then they decide to swap boyfriends for a week and they both learn an important lesson.
So first, I just found this forum this is my first post, nice to find some Duck discussion!
In general I love all new or rarer pairings since we have so many stories of classic pairs so there is room for something more creative if the writers seem passionate about it or have good story ideas.
Personally I like the ideas of Magica/Gyro as suggested here to compare magic/technology. However Gyro’s inventions are often almost magic already and I don’t know how their personalities would work in many stories since Magica gets irritated easily while Gyro is the opposite. Maybe they would have good comic chemistry or the dynamic would run out if mileage soon.
Daisy/Minnie pairing would be fun so we could more flesh out differences between their personalities. Too often both are written like same girlfriend type (unless expecially Daisy is written to be a bitchy girlfriend). But I like how their dynamic was portrayed in House of Mouse show and it would be great to see similar interactions in comics.
Personally I have liked the Gladstone Magica romantic pairings when they have rarely shown up, and even if the romance isn’t repeated they have fun dynamic with both being somewhat grey characters but with very different issues and Magica being very driven while Gladstone is just the opposite.
