A story that tells us what would happen if Magica ever managed to get the dime. Essentially, it's a fanfic, except it's written by someone actually working for Disney Studios!
So, it's like the umpenteenth battle between Scrooge and the obsessed witch and, in the beginning, everything points towards it going as all previous times. Until, suddenly, the narrator is like, 'Have you ever guys wondered what would happen if Magica got the dime?', at which point I rolled my eyes and inwardly said, 'No, you're the only person in the world who has wondered this, genius.' Or at least that's how I would have reacted if I was not 10 years old (and therefore not so sarcastic yet) when I first read that story.
Past that point, the story shows us that alternate universe. Magica melts the dime, creates her long desired amulet and becomes richer than Scrooge. To further get on her arch enemy's nerves, that teasing gal builds a money bin several times larger than that of Scrooge's, right next to that of Scrooge's!
In the beginning, everything seems to be going perfectly for our loveable witch. Thanks to her amulet, she keeps becoming richer and richer, she decides to give herself a makeover in order to become prettier (I don't know about you, but I think she looked better before the makeover) and she parties everyday.
Until Scrooge is like, 'Heh, soon you'll see what being a billionaire is really like.' Magica disregards that comment, believing that Scrooge is just bitter.
Eventually, the Beagle Boys (and other criminals) find out about Magica's success and begin targeting her instead of Scrooge. From now on, Magica has to live in anxiety, being alerted 24/7.
To make matters worse, soon, her old colleagues from the Land of Magicians (or whatever the place those freaks live is called) decide to attack her money bin too.
Unable to combat all those magicians at the same time, Magica resorts to activating a WAKpulled (WAK typed on purpose!) device. (Is it possible Gyro made it for her?) The aforementioned device can fire a magic blast strong enough to repel the invaders, at the cost of almost all the contents of her money bin! Alas, her former allies are forced to flee, but now her money bin is almost empty.
Wait, shouldn't her amulet have prevented that from happening in the first place? Oh, whatever, I guess the moral of the story is that Magica is better off without riches. Of course, in the universe where the 'eternal present' takes place, which is where we return at the end of the story, she will never know. Wink wink!
