Robbery on Rosebud Road is possibly the best AMJ story I've ever seen...true, there's not that much competition, other than Per Hedman's The Substitutes, but still....
Besides having a clever plot, it has the advantage of being drawn by the excellent Arild Midthun.
My question is, does anyone know anything about the author, Camilla Läckberg? Inducks divulges nothing, and this is the only story she wrote. Did she, say, win a contest to have her story used? or is it just a random one-off by someone with no other Disney connection?
Ah, OK! So she's the Swedish writer of crime novels. I wouldn't have been sure it was the same person one finds by googling her name without the link you posted, so thanks, miin95!
That explains why she was able to come up with a clever mystery-solving plot!
Camilla Läckberg is a Swedish crime-novelist. She's pretty famous around these parts (Sweden, that is). It seems she got to write a Duck-story as a publicity stunt or something like that. When our Donald-publication turned 70 years back in 2018, they did a whole issue based around the theme of crime stories, and her story was published there. I assume Läckberg was recruited first, and the theme developed later.
