I was looking through various online digital newspaper archives and, in the process, found several vaguely interesting mentions of Mickey Mouse, images of which I shall now post here:

Wait, so Mickey Mouse WAS called "Michel Souris" in France at some point? It wasn't just a silly name given to this obnoxious 2000s French-made character?
