Hi there, I've been trying for a couple of days to find a strip I read as a child in the early 80s but so far I'm not having any success in my research. I remember some scattered panels and story snippets but not really much more. Thought that maybe some of you could help me about this. I read this story in a Spanish magazine (now defunct) called Don Miki and as far as I know it must have been somewhere between 1982 and 1985-86. It was a story about Donald Duck trying to become a superhero but failing miserably in everything he tried. I'm sure it wasn't a Paperinik/Duck Avenger story because I recall Donald saying explicitly he wanted to try a SECOND secret identity. I vividly remember also him trying to dig a "Batcave" of sorts under his house and also trying some glue to stick to walls a la Spiderman but not much more. Does it ring a bell with you? I'd really appreciate if you could give me some info about this (title, author and so on). If you knew the specific Don Miki issue in which it was published that would be just terrific!!🤓 Thank you very much for your time and take care.
Hello. When you say "strip", do you mean like a 3-4 panel newspaper strip (like the Taliaferro strips) or simply a one-pager? ...Or do you mean something else completely?
Sorry, I misspoke I guess. I meant a bunch of pages, like a self conclusive short story, dunno, like 5 pages or something? Memory is fuzzy😅 But definitely I meant a short comic book story and not a comic strip like the ones in the newspapers.
