- in dai diari delle antenate: Daisy o'Paper contro il West an ancestor of Daisy, called Daisy o'Paper, who lived in the old west with her grandma Molly o'Paper, and Bridget o'Paper (which isn't stated exatly how she's related, she calls Molly 'grandma', so could be both sister or cousin of Daisy). They decided to go west in a caravan because they fall in love of Scrooge and Donald lookalikes, but after arriving the two men leaves. So Molly choose to settle in the farm of Ciccio Ocky, while Daisy and Bridget becomes caravan guides, having already experienced all the hardships of the travel.
I guess Cornelius would have been born around... the 1790s...? So this story would have to be set a few years before then for this to work.
Chronologically, the o'Paper could have lived between 1700-1800. But I strongly disagree with putting them over Cornelius. Daisy o'Paper is clearly related to Daisy, so to put her as Cornelius mother it should mean that Cornelius is ancestor of Daisy too.
I've already accepted that you put character that are supposed to be ancestors (so direct line only) to only sharing an ancestor with the present day cast, but to mix a character supposed to be from Daisy family to Cornelius seems too much, especially because have never mentioned a relation between her and Cornelius.
Still talking of Cornelius placement in time, a lot of sources place him between 1700-1800. In particolar the story Qui, Quo, Qua e le radici di Paperopoli shows a young Cornelius already living in the new continent, traversing the land to arrive and found Duckburg. All in the timeframe of "start of the 1800". Plus he states that he is descendant from the Pilgrim Fathers. Images here.
This clearly contraddicts other versions, in particolar the incredible Quest for Cooties, placed in the 1600s starting from a Netherland-like place, as is visible by the images of this blog. Not a big problem, we could just ignore this version. But is from this story that comes Cornelius brother Johannes. So my idea is that 1600-Cornelius is the ancestor that 1800-Cornelius was referring as one of the Pilgrim Fathers, having 1600-Cornelius sailed on the Quackflower (homage to the Mayflower). In that way Johannes would be brother of 1600-Cornelius and be correctly placed time-wise.
Another question: do you also add similar characters with no stated relationship in your tree? Because I still see Gladstone Wilkes and the Hamilton siblings. If you do, there are lots of other lookalike that could be added.
