Hope I'm not being a pill or anything, but I'm curious - neither LP nor MKR's trees have been updated in a while. Are you gearing up for something big, or has it just been slow?

I'll leave the updating to MKR's futuristic and interactive tree! Personally, I haven't found any new relatives lately and therefore I haven't had much to report.

There are a few suggestions made since the last update, that could be added/changed in a new update. I can also add a few extra generations. But I thought I wait a little, since alquackskey is busy with his list of translations. It might otherwise be a bit confusing if in the meantime the tree is changed.
Found a new relative from the 16th century. From I TL 1940-C, we have Jacob Paperus, an ancestor of Scrooge who did battle with an ancestor of Magica DeSpell. He was mayor. There's already a Paperus on the tree, Pocosalato Paperus, but he's in the Duck tree as he's said to be an ancestor of Donald and Gladstone.
Nice. There is also Donald's ancestor dottor Paperus for I TL 188-AP, who belongs to the next generations to be added to the tree. Maybe there is still a nice way somehow to connect these three Paperus relatives.

I'll just say that this is much appreciated - it's a very slow process, and I'm mainly just trying to get which scans are currently available. Given the breadth of different sources, there's a lot in it.
I've decided to currently ignore any unnamed characters which should help to speed the process up, but it still has a ways to go If you do need to make an update, though, I can try to work with it - as it stands, I've still got plenty left to do, though I'm a good chunk of the way through the most abundant generations

Apologies again to double-post, just had a thought that I wanted to run by everybody:
Some of the characters, though not many, only appear in animated works. For comic characters, I've been gathering scans of the characters' names for verification purposes - this is not so easily done with animation.
For The Aristocats, I had an easy enough time - the film has both a dub and subtitles in all of the relevant languages. As such, all I had to do was screenshot the scenes in which the characters were mentioned by name.
For most other characters, though, this isn't so easily done:
For Aunt Gertie, "Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas" has English, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Dutch dubs, with English, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch and French Canadian subtitles. For Mel Mallard, the relevant Quack Pack episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For Victor Von Goose, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For Almanda de Quack, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For Manny, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For Gramquacker Lily, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For the Clan McDuck from Ducktales, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For McPapa and McMama, the relevant episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English subtitles. For Klara, Anya and Korvus, the relevant Ducktales '17 episode has dubs in all relevant languages, but only English and French subtitles.
How to Have an Accident at Work, House of Mouse, Donald's Diary, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Colour, The Wonderful World of Disney, How the West was Lost and No Hunting are not available on Disney Plus.
So, for these, how should I proceed? I considered just going by what I could hear, but that defeats the purpose of saving proof of the names - besides, I struggle to make out a lot of them, if I'm honest. As such, the only options are either capturing video footage or making exceptions here.
Capturing video footage isn't really my strong suit - I'm no expert, and I believe DisneyPlus blocks it regardless - and I'd rather not make exceptions if possible.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm happy to hear them!
(Today was my day off, and I figured I'd make some progress here since INDUCKS is down )
EDIT: So, purportedly, DisneyPlus blocks screenshotting. I dismissed this, as I was able to get screenshots of The Aristocats... but the block is happening for Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas. It feels pointless to screenshot the subtitles without the images - I'll see if I can find a workaround.
EDIT 2: Good news for names - DisneyPlus has credits in multiple languages, so that should be a help for several of these characters! Bad news... that block. Guess I just got lucky with The Aristocats.
EDIT 3: Got my workaround - will update soon!

If you have only verification by hearing and/or cannot capture any video footage, maybe you can just add a note about that. Someone else might later be able to provide a more solid proof of the name.
I've been ticking away at this one for a while - there's a lot of work in it, but there's also a long way to go.
I've gone through the INDUCKS pages for every character on the tree, and have gathered scans accordingly. Some INDUCKS pages mention the character names but do not have a corresponding scan - in which case, the character is marked in pink. Some characters have multiple names across different stories or printings - these characters are marked in teal, with the different stories mentioned. Also worth noting that, for some characters, their initial appearance did not have a scan, but a later appearance did - in these cases, the characters are marked as verified, with a note mentioning the story which was used for verification.
I have also gone through Xander Ares' Generation Duck blog and the Asger Pedersen article on Donaldistic genealogy. In the case of the latter, I didn't use the names provided (As there is a mix, and many names do not have their original language noted) but there were some scans used from there. The list of sources is not exhausted - if possible, I hope to take a thorough look through Eco Del Mondo, as well as a few of the wikis (Paperpedia, Picsou Wiki, Scrooge McDuck Wiki). I also have to comb back through this thread, as many of the characters do have scans and names posted here. For the moment, though, I'll post my current findings, as it will be some time before I can do these
Also, two major notes: As mentioned previously, I've left a lot of the major/prominent characters blank for the moment. I have plenty of scans for them, it's just how to go about denoting them as verified and whatnot - for example, is it fair to use the Rosa tree as a general verification for most of the characters? I don't know, definitely open to hearing others' thoughts - should it aim to be their first appearance? Any appearance? Feel free to make suggestions I'm also not sure how to handle most unnamed characters - some are easy enough as they only appear in a single panel/page, so proof is easily obtained. However, for characters that appear throughout a story, would we need the whole story scanned to prove that they're unnamed? That's the issue with 'verification' in this case - the only way to verify it is to show the whole story in which they're unnamed. Again, suggestions welcome on this front!
Other than that, I hope everyone is happy with the current progress - I'll keep looking for scans and sources, but this is the 'big update' for the moment. From here on, it'll mainly be chipping away as I go through the above mentioned sources, as well as updating alongside mkr
If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions etc, feel free to launch them my way!

Apologies for the slightly unrelated post, but I just wanted to check - is there a source available for the first unnamed descendant of Cornelius Coot in H 2011-362? As in, where the image comes from?
Most I've been able to find, but the one with a bowl over their head is one I haven't been able to track down - in fact, just in general, images regarding this story I'm trying to find more scans of if possible
I also noticed that one of those Coots mentioned previously in this thread (here) has glasses, whereas none of the Coots on the tree do. Is this the same Coot that I asked about above (the one pictured with a bowl of something on their head)? Or is this a different character?
Basically, I'm just asking for more information and scans regarding H 2011-362 if possible, please

Ahh, perfect, thank you! So, for clarity, the one with the glasses (As can be seen in the last picture in your article) is the "grote maïs-meester"?
And, if you still have access to the story, do you remember the context in which this Coot appears?
Thank you for your assistance thus far - it's very helpful!
The grote maïs-meester has glasses, the others, that all look similar, don't wear glasses. Here are the scans of the story that I uploaded before for sim.

Apologies to double-post, but just a quick question; regarding Johann, if anyone has read D 6190, does he tend to have his eyes closed like that in general or is it just his expression in that panel? I know he opens them in another, but as a moment of surprise, it's hard to count it.
