I've sadly not really seen any but I know Giorgio Cavazzano also did a lot of non-Disney work, such as "Walkie & Talkie" and the first Italian Spider-Man story!
Giulio Chierchini also did a lot of work for Kauka & others.
Apparently, our once again being able to post new graphics, after this website reached its limit due to a failure in the blocking program, now, in fixing that blocker, has blocked ALL the graphics from the beginning of this site, until now, from showing. This iswhat greed for having one's way, against the rules has done. I am truly sorry for being one of the offenders.

Oh yes there were LOTS of Disney Artists who did a great job for Kauka, for example Fecchi is probably the most important Fix und Foxi artist ever, but there were also Gatto, Bottaro, Carpi, Scarpa (only one strip)… You can find a full list here, it’s really impressive how much there are.
And there’s Jerry Siegel of course, author of lots of Disney Comics and creator of Superman who wrote wonderful stories!

Uhhh... what? The graphics are showing fine over here.
Related question: is anyone aware of any non-Disney art by Gottfredson that was intended for publishing (comic, cover, illustration, etc., but not storyboards for example)? Does ANY exist?
In the early 1930s, Gottfredson created numerous sketches of a Mickeylike humanized tiger character and his Petelike enemy, "Itchy Ike" (sadly, only the villain's name has surfaced as of this writing). Clearly the idea was either to create a non-Disney property or sell Disney on this one; but I'm not aware of any finished comic or other product with the characters.
In the 1970s, similar circumstances surrounded Gottfredson's "Mark O'Polo," kind of a composite Mickey and Archie (plucky boy adventurer, but with two rival girls trying to woo him).
[Edit: I originally cited the latter as "Buck O'Rue," which djnyr correctly noted was really the Huemer/Murry cowboy series. That'll teach me to post while eating dinner at a restaurant.]
Kari Korhonen recently had a non-Disney comic published starring rabbit characters. Details on his facebook page. A pic from that comic: i.imgur.com/Dy3C3qf.jpeg
I wonder, what other creators who are mainly known for making Disney comics have done anything for DC or Marvel? Don Rosa once made an illustration for the 1997 Untold Tales of Spider-Man Annual. Anyone else?
