Duckburg is obviously a large enough city to be able to run numerous specialized corner shops and kiosks such as toyshops, importers, barbers, butcher's, and bakeries, but there are also large department stores in Duckburg, such as Nacy's, Garé's and Yak's (created by Carl Barks). In our time, department stores, malls and shopping centers suffer and decline, but from the 1950s to 1980s were their golden age, and this can be seen in the comics of that time.
Here are some excerpts from Barks' stories:
- Nacy's is a parody of the name of the Macy's department store chain and architecturally resembles the entrance of the past Lord & Taylor department store in New York.
- Garé's is a tribute to Barks' own wife (his third wife in particular), Garé Williams, and it is a significantly more modern department store with a large glass facade, which completely covers its ground floor
- Yak's department store appearing in Barks' one-page gag as a very crowded department store where Donald goes to buy a Christmas tree, but unfortunately there is less information about it.
(Special mention: The grocery store chain Quackie-Wackie Supermarket fom "Duck Luck" is a sign of the emergence of a new phenomenon of its time, i.e. supermarkets / inducks.org/story.php?c=W+WDC+251-01 )
But what other department stores, malls and shopping centers are there in Duckburg besides these? From Barks or other artists?

The most famous and recurring that comes me to mind is the Duckmall Center from PK2. But outside of the miniserie, I don't know if it made any appearances.
