…how do you feel Scrooge's characterization changed? The only change I can think of is Don Rosa's more tragic version of the character, but it didn't really catch on with other creators, did it?
I have read stories of unknown creators where Scrooge is a jerk. I like the ''he's nice if you get to know him better'' version of Scrooge in the classic stories.

Oh, I see. But you know, it's not especially modern creators. If anything, there were old stories where he was even more of a jerk. For instance, in 1957's The Iced Dollars by Guido Martina and Luciano Bottaro, after Donald has accidentally destroyed a few millions of Scrooge's, Scrooge says "This means death for you, Donald!", gets a machine gun and, with little skulls in his eyes, tries to murder Donald, who flees.

You live in a country whose publications don;t list the writers and artists' credits in the magazine? The Netherlands is the only country with Disney comic books with no credits, that I can recall (maybe also Brasil?).
