Most of the stories that I stumbled upon while going through my collection were about fake monsters. Are we listing those too?
Ooh, thank you, Zantaf! I was hoping there would be some more real lake monsters lurking out there in Disney comics, who would poke their noses out in this thread.
Sure, we can start a "fake lake monster" story list, too, and put the Sebastian story on it.
p.s. just checked eBay.it for the issue with the "mostro di Rockness", and while there are several people selling it, sadly, none of them indicates they will ship to the USA....
I would also like to add Nessbeth (1994, Unn Printz-Påhlson/Vicar), where the Loch Ness monster is a Merlin-like druid, called Nessbeth, who has transformed and remained in the lake in order to look after his clan's descendants. The lake has been called Loch Ness in his honor.

Thanks! I can get that one in French--just ordered it.

What about the one I suggested?
I appreciate the mention, and have added that to my list of comics for my next mycomicshop order. I'm more interested here in lake monsters than in sea monsters, though...note that I didn't include Barks' No Such Varmint on my list.

Ah. True. The monster looks very much like the Vicar and Strobl lake monsters and such, though.
