Are there some Disney artists you admire, but have technically not made comics?
One of my favorite Disney artists is Patrice Croci, a now very obscure French creator. He did miscellaneous illustrations in French Disney magazines from the 80s to the 90s, and usually had the privilege of drawing the cover art.
Those cover illustrations are very nostalgic to me. At times, they were representative of a story inside the magazine, but were quite loose in interpretation.
There are also many inside illustrations that are not clearly credited, but could very well be his, along François Pasquet, Olivier Fiquet and others.

Ted Johansson. He never tried to become an official Disney artist (though a couple of his drawings do have an INDUCKS code), because he's already an acclaimed comic artist on his own comic strip, but boy, the man does Don Rosa just as well as Don Rosa, and, on his free time, creates various eerily Rosa-like illustrations that he posts on DeviantArt. They're all here. Some favorites:
Although I kinda like Ted Johansson's art and follow him on deviantArt, I feel he is trying too hard to mimic Don Rosa's style and those look a bit stiff and kinda too "clean" (Rosa's art has a slightly "scruffy" element that made it feel more lively... or a certain je-ne-sais-quoi).
But still, his stuff is very good!

I'd say Ward Kimball and Milt Kahl (they designed and animated Ludwig Von Drake, among many others). I could list a whole bunch of other animators from the classic cartoons, but they were so rarely credited that I don't know their names... Also, a recent one is Eric Goldberg, a current animator at the Disney Studios, who was the main animator on the Genie in Alladin, among many others. Disney recently released a book of his Disney-related artwork, which also included illustrations of Donald, the nephews and Uncle Scrooge. There's a few videos on YouTube of him drawing some Disney art.

Eric Goldberg! He is a great inspiration to me. He is so good an animator that he is pretty much the only professional 2D animator who still works at Disney. (he recently animated Maui's tattoos in Moana)
I am assuming you mean this book?

I agree. Marc Davis, too (mostly because of his fantastic Haunted Mansion art).
