I just received a message that my pre-ordered Volume 14 (Kinney-Hubbard) has had its release date pushed back (it will be delayed), and I will be notified when Fantagraphics has a newly-scheduled release date. Have any of the rest of you who ordered it received a similar message?

When I ordered it on Amazon UK, it didn't actually have a release date; it allowed for pre-order with the note that "We'll notify you when it's available". Just checked the Amazon page again and it says that the release date is December 30th (Which is most likely a placeholder, but whether or not it signifies a delay I'm not sure)

I still get the message: "We will notify you when we have an expected delivery date."

Here's hoping it's just a mistake... or maybe they're still planning on November 17th, but are putting the message up in case there's an unexpected delay?
I'm super excited for this one, so here's hoping that it's just a misunderstanding!

Perhaps the previously scheduled release date is still the same, or only a week or two delayed, but the delivery back-log of all Amazon orders is unexpectedly high, to the extent that they can't even project accurate delivery dates to individual pre-order customers?

That's a pretty reasonable idea! I, for one, have definitely ordered more on Amazon as of late than I normally would (What can I say, lockdown has encouraged me to make some Duck-related questionable decisions ), and a few of my more recent orders have been pushed back a week or two.
As long as I get it in the end, I'll be happy enough! I'd hope it's not too long of a wait, but I'd definitely understand it!

This is so peculiar... I know the copies exist (I have one), and the domestic US Amazon site still claims they'll have it available normally from November 17...
UPDATE: I got a notification from Amazon; my copy of Disney Masters 14 has been delayed until January 21-26th.
That answers that!
Still no estimated date for me. You must be higher up on the list than I.
Maybe it's something to do with where you're ordering from?
I was fairly late getting my preorder in (I just happened to be looking into Kinney and Hubbard works, which was how I found out about the Disney Masters series in general), so I'd imagine that, at least compared to everyone here, I'm probably not too high on the priority list.

I just received Giorgio Cavazzano book today, and just flipping through the pages, this book is a beauty to behold. Cavazzano's artwork is really a treat for the eyes. This looks like a good one! I also have the next Paul Murry volume coming soon, and I ordered the Al Hubbard/Dick Kinney volume tonight as well. Admittedly, I have a lot less to say about Murry's work, other than it is consistent and at best, enjoyable. The upcoming Paul Murry Phantom Blot book looks like it will be noteworthy mostly for the unusualness of the premise and stories, offering a break from Carl Falberg's tried and true formula for the Mickey serials.
