"Mickey Mouse: Zombie Coffee" has been delayed to April 2022 and now it's called "Mickey Mouse: Zombie Coffee (The Disney Masters Collection)".
Very interesting.
It really sounds like exactly the same thing that happened with the 90th anniversary Glenat album: they're labeling it "Disney Masters" for marketing purposes, but it's not gonna affect the actual book.
Still no word on more of the Masters box sets? In previous years I think they were solicited by now.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid we don't have more of them coming.
For whatever reason, the boxed sets of Disney Masters haven't sold well—we managed to keep the "collectors' box" slipcases afloat longer than the "gift box" (character-based) slipcases, but ultimately it seems the market wouldn't support them.
I hope we'll try again later; I liked having them in boxes, myself (or we wouldn't have done it!).

That's sad, I liked the boxed sets too. But I can't say I'm very surprised about this. I think they would have sold better if the boxes were released closer to the release date of the single books. When two boxes are released at the same time once a year, you had to wait a whole year for some of the books to be collected (ex. vol 5 and 9). Then you have to make a decision if you want to wait for a nice box or get the books when they are new. For the Barks boxes I personally don't mind waiting as I already have multiple copies of all stories and I don't find the books that exciting. But for the Disney Masters series there have been several books I've been super excited about checking out and it has been a bit annoying having to wait that long for the boxes. And I can understand others not wanting to do that.
But thanks for letting us know. Now I can finally order the last 4 volumes.
Honestly there is no mystery to this. The individual books come out much earlier than the Boxsets. Making the Boxsets Christmas presents makes sense in one way, but damaging in another way.
I can only assume Fantagraphics were expecting us to buy the individual books as they came out, and then buy the Collectors Boxsets later on. It doesn't work like that Fanta.

Oh that's such a shame. I loved the Masters box sets aesthetics, even moreso than the Barks and Rosa ones. The different coloured boxes paired with the different coloured books looks so good. At least it means I can pick up the individual volumes now and keep upto date with them. Thanks for letting us know.

Have you considered doing boxes of specific creators? I never felt like buying any of the boxes myself... partly because I'm not interested enough in all the different artists in the series, but prefer to collect the ones I like. Separate Scarpa and Murry box sets would make more sense to me than a box set combining the two.
I second Mesterus on the creator-based box sets. I lost interest in the box sets once the character sets ended as I was more interested in the Mickey volumes this time around.
Looking at scans of "The Secret of 313", it seems that the "standardisation" of the colours led, in this instance, to the rather nice 3D effect on the 313 being deleted:
Also, the colours are credited to "Disney Italia" but the original Topolino release has a concrete name: Leopoldo Barbarini inducks.org/issue.php?c=it%2FTL+2071#b

Hopeful update: Fanta management tells me that we're now planning to try some more Masters boxes next year. No idea of the schedule yet, but I'm glad they're not gone for good.
