Fantagraphics' Fall 2022 books (August-December) have appeared on Amazon, but there isn't a single Disney book among them. No new Disney Masters volume, no new Barks Library volume, no Christmas on Bear Mountain anthology book. What is going on?
We've actually kicked Disney Masters 22 forward to early 2023 to make way for the Bear Mountain book—but the others should, indeed, be appearing soon.
Then I require a Doc Static time machine stat.
Too bad—I've got Marlin's and Zapotec's here already, and I'll beat you to the future... how else will I ever figure out how these books are going to look?

Cool. I figure we'll be getting - correct me if I'm wrong - a new Barks Donald book plus the Bear Mountain this fall? Not sure what else I'm missing, unless you've got some other crazy surprise up your hands.
On another note, I just picked up the Phantom Blot Scarpa book during my latest trip to Manhattan. Superb work all around. The title story presents very well, as does the brand-new-to-US Scarpa Mickey at the end. The Last Balaboo will always be a personal favorite as well.

We've got another Disney by Glénat coming (beyond "Zombie Coffee"), and a giant-sized Barks special, also for Scrooge's 75th anniversary. More news on both of those to come soon.
Giant-sized Barks sounds interesting! Maybe there's also a chance for different coloring than in the Barks Library books? A size and coloring style more like The Don Rosa Library would be great.
Uncle Scrooge & Donald Duck: Bear Mountain Tales In this special collection of Scrooge McDuck’s amazing comics adventures, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the iconic character created by Carl Barks, Scrooge and Donald return to the site of their first meeting! In 1947, Carl Barks's comics story "Christmas on Bear Mountain" didn't just introduce the Scrooge McDuck character ― it took Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie to Scrooge's Bear Mountain cabin, where beastly bruins made for holiday havoc! In keeping with that memorable debut, Bear Mountain has been the site of countless Duckburg sagas since. This special edition collects Daniel Branca's "Return to Bear Mountain," in which Scrooge engages in a gambit with nasty gnomes; Don Rosa's "The Richest Duck in the World," which features Donald's first visit to the fabled Money Bin; and there's a crash course with Launchpad McQuack in Giorgio Cavazzano's "New Year's Daze." An unforgettable batch of birthday stories and winter adventures is here! Full-color illustrations throughout
["New Years Daze" is actually a Vicar comic, I am assuming the Cavazzano comic in the book will be "Another Christmas on Bear Mountain".]
Uncle Scrooge: The Diamond Jubilee Collection In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Scrooge McDuck character: a Money Bin-sized collection of the greatest Scrooge epics by his creator, Disney Legend Carl Barks! He's tougher than the toughest and smarter than the smartest… he's Uncle Scrooge McDuck, Duckburg's most adventurous tycoon! November 2022 marks 75 years since Disney Legend Carl Barks scribed Scrooge's debut. Now Fantagraphics celebrates with a king-size collectors' edition: more than 300 pages of Barks's finest McDuck tales! From Scrooge's deep-down discovery of "The Secret of Atlantis'' to his weather war with Magica De Spell in "For Old Dime's Sake," from the Beagle Boys' "Giant Robot Robbers" to a "North of the Yukon" showdown with Soapy Slick―Scrooge, Donald Duck, and Huey, Dewey, and Louie dive into one legendary quest after the next! As icing on the anniversary cake, these Barks epics are supported by covers, posters, and paintings from Don Rosa, Daan Jippes, and other beloved modern Disney comics talents. Full-color illustrations throughout
Also, the next Glenat album translation is Donald Duck: Donald's Happiest Adventures, and Fantagraphics will also publish a Disney One Saturday Morning Special Edition (Description: Pour a bowl of cereal and dig into a nostalgic comics tribute to Disney's One Saturday Morning!)
["New Years Daze" is actually a Vicar comic, I am assuming the Cavazzano comic in the book will be "Another Christmas on Bear Mountain".]
The Cavazzano credit for "New Year's Daze" is indeed our error; I'll try and have it fixed. Yes, Cavazzano's "Another Christmas" is indeed going to be in the book as well.
Some assorted thoughts: -260 pages for the Bear Mountain book?! Must be a lotta cool stories in there I never knew about. I figured we'd have the Barks original, Branca sequel, bits by Vicar and that would be the end of it. -The giant-sized Barks/Scrooge book looks killer. Is this purposefully supposed to bring some harder-to-find epics back in print, like For Old Dime's Sake? I know that one hasn't been printed in a while in any form in the US. I am also super excited to see my all-time favorite, Secret of Atlantis, in there. -French albums are always a treat to read. I'll be getting that Donald book for sure. (which, I assume, has more pages than the previous ones, given the $10 uptick in price) -No clue what we're in for with the Disney Afternoon thing. Jippes's credited for some stuff, though. Looks like that'll be interesting.
Also, for those who care, here are the links to the newly-announced boxsets for Volumes 13, 14, 15, and 16 of the Disney Masters series:
I would imagine that the price increases probably stem from price increases for paper itself. I’m happy to see another Glenat album on the way, as well as the Bear Mountain volume. From the price, I wonder if the Barks Diamond Jubilee book isn’t an oversized book like the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck deluxe edition. While I can’t say that I have much in the way of nostalgia for Disney’s One Saturday Morning, it’s good to see that Fantagraphics is catering to more than Barks, Gottfredson and Rosa enthusiasts with this and the Disney Afternoon books. Is the second of those still coming out? Amazon’s listing the Talespin book as unavailable. And while not Disney owned, it is nice to see that Nuft and the Last Dragons has a second volume dropping soon. Freddy Milton’s work is always a joy to read.

The book with the Jippes credit is collecting comics based on Disney's One Saturday Morning, which was a different program block than the Disney Afternoon. Expect stuff like Doug, Pepper Ann and Recess.

We postponed it by a few months, but it's still happening—look for updated info on it sooner or later.
(The One Saturday Morning book was announced a little too early, by the way; it's supposed to be one of next year's books, and will be either revised or temporarily removed soon.)
