I remember there was one adult female Beagles - one was a cousin who after leaving the jail turn good and other Beagles tried to turn her back to crime. Sadly I don't remember the title of the story
The other one female Beagle was very large muscular woman... I think her name was Olimpia (O-176) She join them in a Duck Avanger story. You can see her picture here : inducks.org/story.php?c=I+PK++122-1

I recall her Polish name was Betka but I don't remember much about the story other then she was their female cousin and I wonder was this her first apperance as the story acted like we are ment to be faimiliar with the character.
Thanks! I actually did know about Fleagle Beagle, but somehow forgot about him. I hadn't heard of Olimpia, though!
I didn't read those stories in a long time and I only have brief flashbacks of them. All I recall about Olimpia is that she was super strong but still acted very lady like and was some champion in prison olimpics. It was an odd story with Beagles using her to upset Duck Avanger ego with a female being stronger then he is (okeeey...)

Well, I suppose it is possible that the Beagle Boy who called him "cousin" is a generation older than the one who called him "uncle" ... we don't see the prison number of the latter.

Hey, I just noticed that in Barks's The Menehune Mystery the BB have five fingers per hand! Something that Barks used to do in those days, but only for non-recurrent characters. In the previous US story as well as in the following one in which they appear they have 4-fingers.
I suppose many of you already knew this, but for me it is kind of a surprise...

I did not know this! Thanks for pointing out this anomaly.

I found a new relative! In the 1962 storyIl Paperon Fuggiasco, written by Roberto Catalano and drawn by Giovan Battista Carpi, Scrooge wants to run for mayor of Duckburg because the mayor doesn't have to pay any taxes, and the Beagle Boys decide to rig the election so one of their numbers will win and they can decree that all Scrooge's money will be seized and split amongst honorable citizens (whose names all happen to begin with B).
The point is, the particular Beagle who becomes Mayor is given a personal name: in French, it's Jeannot Tambule (a pun on "noctambule", "night owl"). It's never clarified whether it's that Beagle's real name or not, but I think it is.
