I remember some issues of a Final Fantasy manga here in Italy that featured Donald, Goofy and characters from Disney classic movie (like Alice)
It is "Kingdom Heart", a crossover from Disney and Square Enix. The basis is a video game invented by Tetsuy Nomura, the comic strip was congenially written and drawn by Amano. Till now there have been published (in Japanese, English, partly in Italian and German) Kingdom Hearts (Kingudamo Hatsu), Kingdom Hearts - Chains of Memories, Kingdom Hearts - 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II and the first part of Kingdom Hearts III. Unfortunately, the entries in Inducks are incomplete and also poorly done. Anyway, I think Kingdom Hearts are by far the best Disney Manga, much better than the N-Coded Disney Egmont Mangas.
fredj That "Donald Duck Visits Japan!" book seems interesting. It will be the first Disney manga in over 20 years!
The KKM Come on! The Donald in that manga page you posted in this thread back in 2016 (which by the way is not from "Princess Knight", but the 1959 Tezuka book "Hikari") is not an alternative version of Donald. It's straight up the real Donald, just in a non-official Disney story. And I do believe such appearances absolutely should be listed on Inducks.
cacou Disney characters had many many unauthorized appearances in old mangas. Once I attempted assembling a(n incomplete) list of them, but it's pretty much impossible for someone who doesn't speak Japanese. But I do believe that unauthorized appearances of the real Mickey, the real Donald and real versions of any other Disney characters whould be listed on inducks.
So, in my opinion, something like "Mickey Rodent!" from Mad Magazine should NOT be listed on Inducks, Metropolis with that Mickey-like costume should NOT be listed on Inducks, but Tezuma's Hikari, with the Donald Duck apperance should be.
