The newer ones are kinda weird in my opinion. Drake Mallard working under Megavolt. QuakerJack married and the end of the fearsome five. He later gets turn into a real toy. Some monster kills Negaduck. Liquidator is imprisoned with that vampire jack in the box who is now a fish. Tartus Bultus is ruling the city. Darkwing dates a vixen who is only working with Snush to find her lost daughter who the organization doesn’t want her to know the truth. Darkwing and Lauchpad are both running for mayor and one of Darkwing’ s fan, a famous baseball pitcher is throwing stuff at him.

I… don't really see your problem. Darkwing Duck has always been a really weird and off-the-wall story. There may be some specific plot points you'd object to simply because you don't think the results will be as entertaining (such as the Fearsome Five dismantling), but the overall tone of constant weirdness seems very consistent with the show and the previous comics.
You've generally a right to be mad about whatever you want, not anyone's job to police that. That said, you have indeed apparently misread every single plot point you've mentioned, to the point I wonder if you've read the comics at all or are just going by what you've seen people talk about.
Next June by Fantagraphics: Darkwing Duck: Just Us Justice Ducks: Disney Afternoon Adventures Vol. 1
"Pop culture writers and children's authors David Cody Weiss and Bobbi JG Weiss, featured in this volume, have scribed hundreds of books and comics featuring Disney, Warner Bros., and DreamWorks properties. In the early 1990s, they were also two of the most prolific talents in Disney Adventures magazine's beloved early days."
Shouldn't this thread be in the "General Disney Discussion" section?
What are Darkwing Duck comics if not Disney comics?
Read the descriptions for the sections, dude:
Disney Comics What you're here for, most likely. Discuss the world of Disney Comics, specifically the world created around Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc.
General Disney Discussion Discuss everything else Disney, from Disney Afternoon products like Gummi Bears, to the new shows like the new Ducktales, and even the movies like Inside Out. The Joe Books comics discussions go here.

Darkwing Duck is a gray area, definitely. Of course, knowing my views on canon, people will expect me to consider it debatable whether the distinction ever made sense — Captain Hook is Moby Duck's archenemy, after all. But the system is especially put to the test by Darkwing comics, and, to a lesser extent, by things like Classic DuckTales comics by Van Horn, the ones that are functionally indistinguishable from his regular Duck comics except for having Launchpad in them.
Personally, I'd agree a Darkwing comics thread belongs in the "Disney Comics" board. But, back when Joe Books was publishing its Darkwing Duck comics, we discussed them in "General Disney Discussion". So… *shrug*

It's not a gray area, I think, because Darkwing Duck is a "Disney Afternoon product". He's not part of the classic Disney comics tradition "created around Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc".
I read it. It's perfectly clear this belongs in the "Disney Comics" section. Btw, I don't understand the hostility.
You're right... "dude" in that sentence does come across a little hostile. It's just that personally I didn't understand why you were arguing something which felt so obvious, going by the descriptions and guidelines of the forum.
Before Mesterius posted, I had the same thought: this belongs in the General Disney Discussion section. Not that I care all that much. But my sense was that "Disney Comics" was for the comics about the "classic" characters, Donald Duck's world and Mickey Mouse's world. Yes, the description of the sections explicitly mentions Joe Books comics as belonging in the General Disney section, and they were then publishing Darkwing Duck comics. Similarly, discussion of Disney comics based on other Disney Afternoon shows or DuckTales '17 would go in the General Disney section. Along with any other Disney comics about other properties. Note the thread titled "other Disney comic solicitations". The notice about the forthcoming Fantagraphics book reprinting comics from the Disney Adventures magazine focused on the Disney Afternoon shows was posted there.
I agree with MacDuck that Darkwing comics and Classic DuckTales comics by Van Horn are borderline cases. But while Darkwing Duck is a Disney Duck, his world is different enough from the Duckburg world that I can't see Duckburg and St. Canard being in the same Calisota. Mostly that's a matter of the Darkwing world's much more extreme cartoon physics! Even though I don't really care about the Mouseworld characters and I *do* care about the Darkwing characters, it's still much easier for me to imagine Mouseton being in the same country/state as Duckburg. St. Canard is in a whole 'nother universe.
What about the four-issue series Dangerous Currency? It was chock full of "traditional" comicverse characters (granted, they were only cameos, but still).

Since it was published in KaBoom's Darkwing Duck and DuckTales comic books, I'd argue that it belongs in the general (i.e. Disney Afternoon) section despite those cameos.
