I'm curious about this one too. Doing some inducks seaching it doesn't look like any parts are published in Italy (or anywhere else) yet. Amazon say the book is 168 pages, so it sounds like we'll get 8 parts of about 20 pages each from different artists.

So, to clarify, the "Quest for the Missing Memories" book is new material for IDW, not a collection of stories previously published in individual IDW issues at any point?

Artibani's "Quest for the Missing Memories" was published on Topolino, two or one episodes per week, last November and December, starting from the week of the 90th Birthday of Mickey. The story has not yet been well indexed on inducks, maybe because it must have a new or unusual story code. Anyhow, the series starts here and continues in the following issues.

It is the story that I was mentioning in another thread as being directly produced by the Italians for the international branch of Disney comics, with the funny consequence that maybe for the first time since 1932 Goofy appears on Topolino in an orange shirt rather than in a red one (his standard Italian coloring).

Anyhow, I only read the first two episodes. Interesting celebration, but pretty light plots.
Every episode focuses on a specific aspect of Mickey's character (optimistic, funny, generous, etc...) and has a specific sidekick (Goofy. Minnie, Donald, Scrooge etc...)

Every episode is drawn by a different artist and has received a video preview where you can see the faces of Artibani and his gang of artists

Ah, thanks - no wonder I didn't find anyting searching. But you can see all listed by seaching for "unidentified stories".

With the DPW code it sounds like they are produced for Disney Publishing Worldwide.

“Quest For The Missing Memories” sounds good. Hopefully Disney’s translation of it will be decent.
You can’t go wrong with Barks, so of course I’m looking forward to the Fantagraphics Uncle Scrooge volume.
Life of Scrooge is already in the Don Rosa collections, so I’ll be skipping that one.

Disney is treating this entire year as Mickey's 90th Birthday celebration. Not just in comics but throughout the entire Disney company.

By "entire year" you mean the entire period of November 2018 to November 2019? My impression was that they treated the entirety of 2018 as the anniversary year - which would make a lot more sense to me - but then, I noticed a lot more anniversary buzz in the second half of 2018 (again, that just felt normal).

Just realized that Mickey Mouse and the Fire Eye of Atlantis had already been solicited back in November and was supposedly released this week and is even still listed on this week's new releases on PreviewsWorld. Has anybody seen it around anywhere? Weird how they would solicit it again this quickly. Amazon claims it was released this week and has it in stock.

Same here, I'm afraid. :/ I hope the translator is not someone whose name starts with E and ends with rin Brady.

(But then, who knows how much better it would be if IDW hired someone else, considering they and Disney rather obviously have decided on the simplistic language in the new comic books...)
