Don't know if any of you noticed at the time, but I just learned that in 2017, there was a DuckTales parade in Disneyland Paris based on the original series, perhaps the last spin-off of the 1987 series before DT17 took over. It featured new voicework by Tony Anselmo and Russi Taylor, and what appears to be the actual debut of Enn Reitel's Scrooge, too.
Interesting; I've always assumed that the Rightful Owners and the DWD Crossover were the last spin-offs and the last goodbye to the original team. Reitel as Scrooge sounds a tad Alan Youngish, but more jovial, and the theme song seems toget a little closer to the reboot version in the end (when we hear "Tales of daring do bad and good... not pony tales or cotton tales no Ducktales" it gets faster like in the new opening).
