Hey guys!
Yeah, I really got side-tracked with life, which has kind of destroyed my flow. I'd actually like to come back for something else -- I can always come back to Keno Korner in the future.
Sooooo, Disney+ launched in the Netherlands just today, and it's free until 12 November. For the first time in my life, I have access to Disney's entire cinematic output --- so this is the moment to jump in and experience all those wonderful movies for the first time (or revisit a few old favourites).
I'm very grateful that this project hasn't been forgotten, thank you very much for the replies, and I will return to it in the future, but probably not before graduate university. I have enough writing to focus on as is. I can be less comprehensive with the films, because they're not as close to my core Disney fandom. Time to set up the new project.

Totally understand. As long as I'm still active on this forum, it's pretty much guaranteed I'll still be interested in this series, so whenever you decide to get back to this, I should still be here.
Really complicated ways indeed... UNIT dating has nothing on Rosa dating! I've been trying to iron out a few things, and it seems I vastly underestimated the amount of work required. I clearly have to slot in more Barks adventures to get a grip on things. And it seems they're all going to be set in the same year. Great. But I don't want to spoil too much yet, I want to keep you guessing at the line-up. In the meantime, I've got an appendix to work on.
I have stuck to years for the present-day stories, but obviously most of those are approximations. I will try to get as close as accurate, even if that means inventing an extra year somewhere along the way... I'm open to suggestions!
Oh, so you want us to be guessing at what the timeline's going to look like? In that case, I'll insert a few of my own guesses/headcanons here, and we'll see how it lines up with your timeline. Obviously, whether or not our timeline's line up will probably depend, in large part, on how we view the story ending. I imagine that, at some point in the mid-50's (I think I'm going with circa 1954 until contradictory evidence emerges), Scrooge moves to the Klondike to live with Goldie, where he stays until his death in 1967. Thus, when I read a Rosa story, I sort of imagine that it is all building up to that ending.
Well, well, well, MidgetMoose from the past, while no contradictory evidence has emerged as of yet, there is a little bit of evidence, it turns out, to support the idea that Scrooge moves to the Klondike to live with Goldie in 1954. In the third panel of Last Sled to Dawson, a ledger appears with the date "1954" on it. According to this, Rosa himself confirmed that this was meant to be an indication of the year in which the story took place.
While it's not certain that this is the Rosan "ending" for Scrooge, it's one of the best candidates if there is to be a Rosan "ending." It ends with Goldie receiving the box of chocolates and note Scrooge intended to give her back in 1899, providing the perfect opportunity for Scrooge to confess his love to her and realize that he's ready to give up the life he's leading for her. It's very fanfictiony and would never happen officially, but it's hard to image Last Sled to Dawson having any other outcome, as the whole story seems to be building up to Scrooge fully accepting the yearning he has for his Klondike days and his distaste for his current, hectic life. Thus, if Last Sled to Dawson is truly the last story with Scrooge in it on Rosa's timeline, then my hunch was correct and 1954 truly is the year that the "grand adventures" era ends and Scrooge finds his home in the Klondike, presumably staying there until his death in 1967.
No matter what I say or do, know that Jesus loves you.
