Martina's scripts has always been pretty cynical and his use of the characters was not really Disney-like. This is the reason why it is difficult today to reprint some stories written by him without censoring dialogues or at least soften them a bit.

That's partially true. In fact, Brazil lived under a ditactorship when it was first published, and several changes was made in the story, including how Donald handled with police officers.
