As the third Disney TVA cartoon to be inspired by a comic and first to be of Marvel instead of the Disney Ducks, may as well make a thread. What does everyone think of the show so far?

This one is very well reviewed, as far as I can see on the internet. Lots of praise for its animation--many people comment that the animation is in some ways reminiscent of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. Also that it has a heart, and that it does well with the ethnic grounding of the character, esp so far in ep 3, where Moon Girl has issues around her natural hair. (I read that the idea for that episode was developed in conversation with the voice actor for Moon Girl, drawing on her own experience.) On that front some reviewers compare it to the live-action series Ms Marvel. The Spidey connection goes beyond the Spiderverse-like animation style, as Moon Girl is definitely rooted in her neighborhood--for her, not just Manhattan in general but the Lower East Side. Unlike many superheroes, even young ones, Moon Girl like Ms Marvel lives with a family who are warm and loving and she has at least one good friend who knows her identity.
I do like all those aspects of the show. The only thing that's modifying my own enthusiasm for the show is that I was a big fan of the comics series of the 2010's and it will take me a little while to get over the changes that were made to the character and cast from the comics. But I do think on the whole those changes were made for good reasons, and I'll come around once I manage to accept this Moon Girl as Cartoon Moon Girl. It's not at all the same as the situation with New DuckTales.
