I've been looking for this story for decades. I read it in an 80s Donald comic.
scrooge's car stops near where donald and gladstone were lounging. scrooge scolds them for wasting time. Look at me, I am very rich and it all started with a coin like this. the two laugh and tell him that those were other times. scrooge makes them follow him and they find a guy who only had a bill to pay the meter and needs change. he borrows the coin from scrooge and manages to pay before a policeman put a ticket on his car. the guy thanks scrooge and hands him his bill. Then they go to a bulletin board and read that someone needs a vacuum cleaner. scrooge goes to a friend's thrift store and gives the owner the bill and asks him to pay the rest later. Donald picks up the vacuum cleaner and they deliver it to the person who needed it and she pays them enough to liquidate the vacuum cleaner and still make a profit. With this money they go to a street stall where scrooge buys a lithograph that he considers valuable. they take it to an art gallery and get a large amount of money. scrooge splits his winnings between donald and gladstone to see what they do with the money. but they went to bet on the racetrack. Donald picks a losing horse but gladstone picks blindly and bets on the winning horse. but when they go to collect their earnings, a policeman tells them that the prize was stolen. scrooge leaves convinced that the best way to get rich is to work hard.
Any idea about where can I find this story ? Thanks
