Anyone else has read this fantasy series by Massimo de Vita?
Plot: Mickey and Goofy visit the far-away magical land of Argaar, where the evil Prince of Fogs rule. The prophecy recalls that only he who carries the legendary Sword of Ice will defeat him for good... like when the ancient warrior Alf destroyed his physical body in the past. With the help of wizard Yor, they go find the lost Sword of Ice and Goofy poses as Alf's cousin in order to fulfill the prophecy.
But even then, more dangers await the land... for true evil cannot be completely destroyed...
Made of four stories.
When I was a kid, I read the last episode in a "Mickey Parade" and was very much fascinated by the story, its visuals, its atmosphere... I especially liked a character... who is my avatar!!
I ordered the previous "Mickey Parade" where the previous episodes were chaotically published over the years. (would you believe they published episode 2 before episode 1??)

orora: where did you get that comic? (I assume it's a digital English translated comic)
comiXology has the 3-part story "Sword of Ice" and the second sequel "Return of the Prince of Fogs" listed under the cateogry "Mickey Mouse in the Sword of Ice". I guees the comic you refer to is collecting those four parts?
But the first 2-part sequel that should be read between "Sword of Ice" and "Return of the Prince of Fogs" have it's own series "Mickey Mouse: Return to the Land of Adventure" on comiXology.
I own this volume that contains the first three stories coa.inducks.org/issue.php?c=gr%2FMS+++17 They're good. Kinda overrated, but surely better than other fantasy series like Dragonlords or Wizards of Mickey.

Oh... I got it from Google Images. I only own the comics in French.
Awkwardly, I started a fancomic based on "Sword of Ice"... but I wasn't aware that there was an official English translation! So I began calling it "Ice Sword" and the villain "Mist Prince"...
Seriously, why aren't those English editions listed on Inducks?

Ah, I thought you ment that this particular edition was "made by four stories", but now I get it. Doing some searching it seems the edition with the cover you posted are sold at various places and available for the NOOK, kobo and iBook readers.
Ex. Barnes & Noble have it, and you can get it on iTunes. On iTunes it says "100 pages" so then it sounds like this edition has all 3 parts of the first story.
One of the most famous DISNEY stories in Greece. We got a small-sized (topolino sized) volume years ago and it is out of print. Then we got a re-print (the blue cover) The first publication is one of the most sought after volumes in Greece
They've recently done a parody of this story, coa.inducks.org/story.php?c=I+TL+3179-2 It's in continuity with the others, but at the same time makes fun of Mickey Mouse and the sword of ice.

I've read some of the "Sword of Ice" in French. I'm with jumbojr; they're good, definitely better than Dragonlords or Wizards of Mickey, but I wasn't blown away. Probably just personal taste. I almost always prefer the classic characters as themselves in their regular world. I hardly ever love the literary parodies which are rated so highly on Inducks, and I seldom like the fantasy or superhero or spy story stuff. Though I do love the visual world so far on Donald Quest!

I did. It's funny and it doesn't ruin the original stories.

I did. I'm really not a fan of Sio's sense of humor...
I loved the art (and the fact that there were a few human characters thrown in), but what I read seemed very rushed. I think it would have worked better as a longer series, with more time to develop the worldbuilding. I would rank it just underneath X-Mickey on my top list of Mickey Mouse fantasy stories.
