At the end of 2012 (I think) we saw Disney comics starting to be published digitally on comiXology, and during 2013 we got a lot of content there not previously available in English. They were all published under a publisher simply called "Disney". But after 2013 that section on comiXology went silent, and nothing new has been published the last years I believe.
But that is about to change! A new publisher "Disney" just got added to the site, which basically is IDW. And on February 1st most back issues from IDW's line of Disney comics are going to be available digitally on comiXology! And it looks like new issues (at least Donald Quest and Duck Avenger) are going to be published digitally on the same day as they get on sale in comic shops.

I just noticed this yesterday and I'm super excited! Comixology, in my opinion, has become a great place to discover and try new comics since they have such a large and diverse library. So to have more Disney comics available (and the option for readers to subscribe online) will hopefully draw in new readers.
I will probably use this as an opportunity to determine whether or not I will enjoy the PKNA "Duck Avenger" series; I've always wanted to read it and to have a way to purchase the books that is both affordable and convenient is a bonus.
