I can't remember the title of the story... I think it was an Egmont-pronduced one, from sometime in the '80s, back when Egmont was still called "Gutenberghus"... not a good decade for Gutenberghus-produced Mickey stories in general, as I remember, but this story did stick with me. It featured Mickey and Goofy going on a vacation, and Goofy having developed an obsession for quoting old proverbs in every and any situation.
Goofy constantly spouting proverbs eventually led to misunderstandings that got Mickey into trouble, culminating in him getting a speeding ticket. I don't remember the exact circumstances, but the Mouse had a pretty epic freakout when the police officer who gave him the ticket and said something like "For the future, I suggest you remember the old proverb that 'haste makes waste.'"
Mickey flipped his lid and tore the ticket up while screaming about how much he hated old proverbs, and the final panel had a still-enraged Mickey being carted away by the police officer while a bemused Goofy was left behind to comment something to the effect of "I was going to remind him of the old proverb that 'silence is golden,' but I don't think he'd be interested."
