The good news is, Uncle Scrooge #445 (IDW's #41) is out and its one story is a pretty great one, and with Core Four translation supplied by Thad Komorrowski.
The bad news is, editor Chris Cerasi has clearly not learned from his mistakes last time he ran a Thad Komorrowski translation. Here the table of contents calls the story "The Vortex of Time", even though its title page says "The Time Vortex".
(Thadwell, if you're listening, could you tell us which title is the correct one in this instance?)

Oh, and I forgot to mention that New IDW persists in using this new, much uglier font they introduced. Beh. I mean, it's not terrible. But the older one was much better. Oh well.
Also, while I'm listing off things that went wrong in this issue: more vexing typos and coloring blunders: what should be the "Time-Turner Vortex Spell" becomes the incomprehensible "Time-Tuner Vortex Spell", and Goldie has red hair, because…she's Irish? Pals, I don't know.
I think we need to tone down the anger about some of the changes. While I don’t agree with everything that the current editors are doing at IDW, calling them “drunk” really is going a bit overboard. Are they putting the same amount of attention and care into the books as the previous editorial staff? Honestly, I can’t say. There were mistakes that made it through in almost every Disney comic publisher’s run. It’s the nature of keeping up with deadlines (and this month, they do seem to be catching up with two issues of Uncle Scrooge and DuckTales having been released). Let’s not become a toxic fandom, okay? Criticize, but don’t be nasty about it.

Goldie also has red hair in the German printing of this story in Lustiges Taschenbuch Enten-Edition 40: Goldrausch--a volume utterly devoid of editorial attention, as I complained on some thread previously: Goldie appears in three stories, with three different names! and two different hair colors.
So perhaps Goldie had red hair in the Italian first printing of this story for some unfathomable reason, and it just hasn't been changed since.
I've said I strongly dislike the Italian coloring of the Duplo-plastic-toy bin and Grandma Duck's and Gyro's hair in a comic book published for Americans. But I'm most deeply annoyed here by the golden dime. That just says to me, they don't even care. A comic for Americans where we're asked to believe a gold coin is a dime? WE KNOW WHAT COLOR A DIME IS!
You will note that on the cover of U$ 419B the dime was changed from gold to silver. True, on the cover of US 423A it was left gold--but perhaps that was thought necessary for it to stand out against the sky background. In the story "Himalayan Hideout" in that issue, the dime is silver/gray. (Does Egmont normally color the #1 Dime silver/gray?)
Still glad I bought this issue, though--my last unless Things Change in a happier direction--because I'm glad to have this story in Thad's English translation. Lots of funny notes in the dialogue that lift this rather simple story into re-read territory for me. "Are we splurging on an undented can of pork and beans?" The fact that Magica can't afford "much carry-on" on her trip through time. "Cursed roaming data!" The nod to Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in "a wandering minstrel." (Also, this leads to Scrooge's having gotten the idea of being a wandering minstrel from Magica...there's no such link in the German.) The very funny riff on the old English ballad "The Wandering Jew" in Scrooge's song. "Time-Traveling Theory for Idiots." I was also pleased that Thad made reference to Magica's other attempt to steal the dime from a young Scrooge, in Rosa's "Of Ducks, Dimes and Destinies." That was answering a question any reader who'd read the Rosa story previously would have, in a satisfactory way.
MacDuck, I do think it's supposed to be the "time-tuner spell," though...since Magica says on the third-to-last page, "Let's hope I've untangled that time-tuning..."

Sometimes silver, sometimes gold. A bit lazy since all local variants (10 øre in Norway, 25 øre in Denmark and 1 krona in Sweden) were silver coins.
The dime has appeared four times in the last eight issues of the Swedish weekly, two times as silver and two times as gold. So no continuity whatsoever
