Missed my reviews, fellows? I know you did.
The story begins with Donald and nephews spotting an UFO in the sky above Duckburg. Right after that, they go to watch TV, sure
that the UFO they just saw will be on the news at that exact moment, which is the case indeed!
The next day, newspaper distributors in Duckburg streets declare the news. (And this is where kid readers ask: 'Duh, why didn't the
citizens search on the Internet?') Meanwhile, in the millionaires club, some wealthy guys, including Scrooge, hear a weirdo talking about
aliens.
The main story begins when a bunch of cars crash against seemingly thin air. Scrooge has to pay insurance money. A wise man with
an ultra long beard (man, I'm telling you, this scene kinda freaked me out) advises him to avoid paying by invoking the benefit of
the doubt. However, this isn't enough for our adorable, feathery tycoon; he believes he deserves monetary compensation... for some
reason!
And so, Scrooge publishes a newspaper announcement (once more, kid readers ask: 'Duh, why not online?') asking for any kind of help.
An elf looking humanoid shows up and informs Scrooge that, through human history, some castles were abducted by aliens. No further
explanations are given!
The elf takes Scrooge and his usual assistants (nephews!) to Indians caves. There, on wall drawings, they see that a castle was
abducted, seemingly centuries ago. However, the aliens are still here because they cannot move it. Then how could they move it
in the first place when they abducted it? Also, are those aliens the same as centuries ago or their descendants? Sweethearts, I know
as much as you do about that. In any case, that castle was what the cars crashed against before, during a failed attempt of the aliens
to finally leave.
Scrooge has a deal with the aliens (who, conveniently, speak his language). He will attach four rockets to the castle that will help it
soar into outer space. In exchange, he gets the castle's contents (gold, diamonds etc)
The story ends with Scrooge revealing to the nephews that the weight of that gold was what had been preventing the castle from
moving, so he actually exchanged their gold for 4 rockets that the aliens did not need anymore. The nephews faint of surprise in a
gag manner.
A story with fast pace and alternation between scenes. The writers didn't bother with much justification, but it was an enjoyable read
nonetheless.
Rating: 8/10
