Of the theories you mentioned, I think the first one makes the most sense. I personally dislike the third and fifth options because they devalue the universe, at least in my opinion. What's the point of continuity, character development, morals, and stories with any sort of complexity if it is all just someone's dream? The Afterlife bit isn't quite as bad, but it just seems very odd, especially when, as far as I know, characters can die. None of the main ones have, but I never got the impression that death was impossible for them.
While these are all interesting theories, I feel like it is worth pointing out that the explanation within the comics themselves is that they stay young by reading comics or by virtue of being comic book characters. I can't remember for sure which. The issue is discussed in Geradts's infamous Della story (I.N.D.U.C.K.S. link: inducks.org/story.php?c=H+2014-071) I'm not saying that I particularly like this explanation, but it is what it is, and it's the only official explanation I know of.
No matter what I say or do, know that Jesus loves you.

It's both, actually. Although both are only theories of Professor Batty, the same professor who appeared in "Flip Decison", so they may not be true. We've just recently created a page for the story on the Wiki, by the way, so if anyone wants to read a brief summary of it, here's the link: scrooge-mcduck.fandom.com/wiki/Family_Ties.
