There's a Donald story I remember from a long time ago that I've read in the mid-90s in a "Journal de Mickey" issue. I think it was drawn by Vicar.
Donald and HDL are in a house in the woods, and they read in the newspaper about a thief who is running around, carrying a stolen box of diamonds/gems/jewels.
The thief is a short man who wears a big trenchcoat, sunglasses, a hat and a big bushy beard that hides his whole face, with only his dognose peeking through.
Donald wants to play a trick to HDL, so he disguises himself as the thief, wearing similar clothes and a fake beard, and fills a box with nails.
However, the actual thief has been hiding around the house, and his box gets switched with Donald's.
HDL see the thief and call the police. All the police forces arrive, and surround Donald-in-disguise.
Donald is very embarrassed, so he removes his hat, and says "Don't... don't you recognize me? It's ME, Donald!!"
He opens the box and says "Those are NAILS! I just wanted to play a prank on the children" except it's filled with the stolen diamonds.
Donald ends up running away from the agressive police, screaming "No, don't lock me up, I am CLAUSTROPHOBIC!"
I forgot how the rest goes, but I found that part very funny.
If you could help me identify the story, thank you very much!
