Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a running total of the different types of jobs Donald Duck has had? The more I read the Donald Duck comics, the more I realize he is truly a jack of all trades.
There’s a pretty comprehensive list of the jobsDonald has had in Barks’s stories here (there’s a LOT of them though, so I’m not sure these are all of them): www.cbarks.dk/THEJOBS2.htm Some of the modern stories portray Donald as working as a coin cleaner at Uncle Scrooge’s Money Bin, or as a factory worker at the Duckburg Margarine Factory.

That list left out Donald's job as a baker in Mr. Yonson's bakery, in the story in which he put cheese into the crust of the giant pie made for The Junior Woodchucks (WDCS 210), and WDCS 206, in which he peeled potatoes in the kitchen of one of Uncle Scrooge's hotels, and he later managed a hotel for him. He was a truant officer for Duckburg's school system in WDCS 100, In WDCS144, he was hired by Uncle Scrooge to drive around USA spending Scrooge's extra money. He worked as a bill collector for Uncle Scrooge in a 1946 story, and a 1952 story. He was a county sheriff in "Sheriff of Bullet Valley". In WDCS 133 he was a truck driver (delivering buckets). In WDCS 93 and 212 he was a rocket ship pilot. In WDCS 269 he was a motel manager for Uncle Scrooge. In WDCS Donald was a lifeguard at Tulebug River Beach. In WDCS 231, he had jobs as a baker, a stringer in a violin factory, a barber, and a night watchman in Duckburg's wax museum. There were many more.
But there are also several more left out of that list in which Donald was self-employed, for example, as an egg rancher in WDCS 1. In WDCS 200 he operated a pet care service. In WDCS 93, he was a newspaper salesman, in WDCS 212 he was a peanut vendor. He was an independent real estate salesman in WDCS 271. In WDCS 279, he operated his own gaming concession in Duckburg's Carnival. He operated a self-owned undersea salvage company in WDCS 292. In WDCS 222 he operated his own house-moving company. There were many more examples of Donald being an entrepreneur.
