I suppose it's because you can easily understand whose the drawings are, but it's difficult to understand whose the scripts are.

True (though that point is becoming less and less valid with INDUCKS and the Internet in general). I do see an exception or two, like Guido Martina and Vic Lockman. (Okay, Lockman drew a couple of stories at the end of his career, but it's not for them he's known.)
With Disney comics specifically, I think it's partially because story credits weren't ever printed in those comics up until I think the Gladstone era so I guess no one really knew who the writers were back then. Apart from people like Carl Barks (Who as far as I know, both wrote and drew his stories) who were more easily recognizable.
