I am aware that this site does have a more mixed response on the voice actors the 2017 version of Ducktales used and the show's voice direction (though admittedly the person to be blamed for that would be Sam Riegel since he's the voice director, not Frank Angones) so I am gonna bring this up, if characters from Ducktales or even the comics (it can even be someone who hasn't appeared in animation before) did appear in animation again, which voice actor/actress would you have in mind for them?
I mean at this point, the 1987 Ducktales VAs aren't an option anymore since the major cast members are either getting up there in years (Terry McGovern's now in his 80s so gonna be hard for him to return at such an advanced age and Peter Cullen doesn't do much voicework outside Optimus Prime nowadays) and not as active in voice acting nowadays or passed away before and during Ducktales 2017's run (Alan Young, June Foray, Hal Smith, Russi Taylor, Chuck McCann, Will Ryan) (who knows, maybe that also played a role in the Disney higher ups deciding not to have the major cast of the 1987 series return). Frank Welker's pretty much the only one from the 1987 Ducktales who's still active in voicework full time.
So, which voice actors would you have in mind for characters from Ducktales (both 1987 and 2017 if you want) and comics if they reappear or appear for the first time in animation?
Bonus: Which voice director would you pick if a new show on Ducktales or comics was made since it seems Sam Riegel's voice directing for the 2017 Ducktales had a more mixed response from this site?

To be honest, I didn’t like the voices that were in Ducktales 2017 at all, for a number of reasons, but I respect fans who love it. Although I've seen a lot of criticism about it, so I'm not going to get into that. It was certainly too much to hire famous actors instead of voice actors. Honestly, I would no longer want the next Duck series to be called Ducktales, although I know that it is much more sought after in marketing, when those series can be called by other names. After all, Darkwing Duck will be rebooting soon, so we'll see what happens there.
As for the voices and actors or actresses who could act, I have some ideas, but I will focus more on the most important ones.
The first thing that comes to mind are Donald’s nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie. Although Donald’s nephews in Ducktales 2017 with separate personalities were not bad, their characterization development, and especially their voices, was bad. Only in Latin American Spanish dubbing and Hungarian dubbing did they sound like real boys because they were played by young actresses and boys. Honestly, I don't want Donald's nephews to sound the same as Donald in some of the following shorts and the following cartoons, nor to be like in the Ducktales reboot, because they themselves, although similar to Donald, are more intelligent and lively than Donald, and have children's hearts. Russi Taylor played them best, however since she is gone, it will be difficult to choose someone who could inherit by playing Donald’s nephews. Cristina Vee played the younger Donald well in Ducktales so she sounded like Russi Taylor when she played Donald’s nephews so she would be a good choice, also Kaitlyn Robrock would be a good example, though I don’t know if she would want that. For now, she plays Minnie solidly as Russi once did. Also, I know many will not like me saying this, but Jeannie Elias, Pamela Adlon and E.G. Daily played very well Donald’s nephews in Quack Pack (no matter what that series turned out to be) who really sounded their age. It is unfortunate that after that they were not accepted to play HDL in the following series and movies, as they had the talent for it. Yes, although not like Russi Taylor, they were certainly good.
Although it would be best for the boys to play HDL, which would give the final impression that Donald's nephews really feel like boys. This was the case in Scrooge McDuck and Money and Donald's Fire Survival Plan, educational classic shorts where HDL was originally played by boys, later by Mellomen who gave them the voices of children. Although I know that lately there are often problems when boys play a character in modern cartoons and there are constant changes (example Gumball from Cartoon Network), this would certainly be a good example that in some specialties in which HDL would appear that they could be played by boys and to sound their age. Of course, this is my opinion and my suggestions.
Not to go any further, I’ll mention plans for other characters a second time, but as far as Donald and Daisy are concerned, Tony Anselmo and Tress MacNeille are certainly great voice actors for that, but I’m afraid there will come a time when they’ll have to find replacements for their characters, though I have no idea who might replace them in the near future.
