I have a rather nerdy request. I'm interested in the dimensions of various publications around the world and wonder if you can help me find them out. Some can be found by Google or Inducks but not all, and I don't always trust what they say.
So in height x length x width (in centimetres) here are some that I know or want to know, but feel free to add others.
Libraries
Daniel Branca Library (Sweden): 29.2 x 22.1 x 3
Don Rosa Library (US): 28.6 x 22.2 x 2
Carl Barks Library (US): 26 x 19.1 x 2
Intégrale Romano Scarpa (France): 24.9 x 17.7 x 3
Other hardcovers
The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Deluxe Edition: 37 x 27.5 x 4
Disney by Glénat (France): 32 x 23.9 x 1
Disney Masters, Bear Mountain Tales (US): 26.8 x 19.7 x 3
World of the Dragon Lords (US): 26 x 18.5 x 2.1
Periodical magazines
Picsou Magazine (France): 28.4 x 21.1 x 0.4
Journal de Mickey (France): 26.7 x 20.2 x 0.2
Silver Age American: 26.7 x 18.5 x 0.1
Standard comic book (North European weeklies, American monthlies): 26 x 17 x 0.2
Periodical digests
North European pocketbooks: 19 x 12.5 x 1.5
Topolino: 18.5 x 14 x 1.4
American digests:
Super Picsou Géant (same as Mickey Parade Géant?):
I'm fascinated by the different sizes (and what choices go into choosing one*), and this helps visualizing the difference so I'm really grateful if you can grab a measuring tape and some comic books and take a look
* Like why three different sizes for Carl Barks, Disney Masters and Dragon Lords? I get why the Don Rosa Library is larger, but why the difference in those?
